I highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Florence. Rooms are great — clean and sized very well considering the location. Only minor concern I have is the the shower size and door placment. View was great.
Stuff is incredibly accommodating and pleasant. Everyone was genuinely happy to interact with and offered plenty of information when asked. Kudos to you guys.
Location is super close to the major tourist attractions, while you are not in the middle of it. Area feels safe and much cleaner in comparison of the touristy spots.

The location was perfect for our needs, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Paul and Parviz provided excellent service, which made our stay even better. However, the bathroom in the room with river views was very small, and the shower tray was even smaller than a phone booth. On the other hand, the other room, which faced an inner courtyard, was very nice.

We had such a great stay at The Sonetto. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with great amenities. Breakfast each morning was also great.
A special mention must go to Parviz, who went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. His hospitality really stood out and made a lasting impression.
I have stayed with Sonder twice now and this won’t be the last.

This location is perfect if you want to be in a safe, beautiful place near the best sights to see. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. They also have a delicious breakfast & coffee! Definitely choose this hotel — as a Marriott Elite member, I highly recommend.

Wonderful hotel in a great location along the river! The room is clean and fresh and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is around the corner from the school of leather (which is amazing) and 10 to 15 minute walk to the heart of town and less than five to Santa Croce. I would stay there again on future trips to Florence!

Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations! We had a fantastic experience in the stunning city of Florence. The hotel offers a beautiful view of the river and is just a few minutes away from the city center, making it incredibly convenient to explore the area.
The facilities were excellent, the room was spotless and what truly made our stay memorable was the exceptional service. The staff, especially Qusai and Erica were so kind, helpful, and always made us feel welcome.

Our experience at the Sonetto was amazing! The location is spectacular and very close to everything (sites, restaurants etc). The service is also superb. We were so lucky to get great recommendations from Parviz during our stay. Highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Florence.

Enjoyed two-night stay here. View of the Arno river from the Deluxe King room and walking distance to the historical centre. Functional and pleasantly minimalist decor.
Very helpful reception, especially Francisca. Same-day collection laundry service by the kg available. Complimentary tea and coffee in the breakfast room and in room.
NB: No lift/elevator. Room air-con not working but thankfully we could leave the window slightly open. There is a mosquito net covering the window.

A very good basic hotel. The staff is very nice, the rooms are simple but exactly what you might need when visiting a city like Florence. It is nicely located, not too far from both must-see locations and more daily life places. It gets the job done.

Great location in Florence, great service from all the staff. We were in one of the river view rooms which was a large room on the first floor. Lovely room, very spacious. There was aircon that worked most nights, except for some maintenance issues with it which they had emailed about. Breakfast was lovely and could add each morning. The terrace outside was a great spot to relax when busy Florence got a little tiring, we sat out there with takeaways or picky bits from the shop 5 mins away. Lovely location, great staff, very clean, room was cleaned daily to a high standard. As our room was the first room up the stairs from reception it was a little noisy at times but nothing that affected our stay!
Will stay again!

We stayed at the Sometto Powered by Sonder during our trip to Florence in October 2024. We booked this hotel to be on The Arno, and it was incredibly close with water views from our window — we even saw a hot air balloon take off on the water one morning! The hotel is also located close to one of the most popular locations for sunset viewing. The breakfast was delightful, with a great selection of pastries, coffees, fruits, and hot breakfast items put out fresh each morning.
Parviz and Nicole at the front desk were exceptionally wonderful to meet. They went above and beyond to help with all of our needs, even transferring our rooms for us to improve our experience. Thank you Parviz and Nicole for everything!

Rating is due to the fact that we booked this hotel primarily for its location and the fact that it advertised air conditioning. Location was very convenient but despite confirming that the air conditioning had been allegedly turned on for the season, our room got uncomfortably hot and the air conditioning did not seem to put out cold air. The staff themselves were lovely and tried to resolve the air conditioning issue, including offering us a fan, so no complaints about them. However, we were unable to get a good nights sleep due to the heat. They even had maintenance come and check it and confirmed that the AC was “working” but the room could not get below 24 degrees Celsius. The hotel also only owned 2 fans so when we borrowed them both, they said they would need to take one back the next day. Someone burnt bread at breakfast and fire alarm also started going off intermittently on our first morning there and woke us up. It was, however, very clean and we had the superior king room which was large (except the bathroom, which was small) and had a nice view. The staff were also extremely helpful in helping us figure out a rental car situation gone wrong and I greatly appreciate all their service.
I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if air conditioning if important to you, and they are being misleading by advertising air conditioning. But if you are indifferent to the temperature, this hotel was fine.

I wanted to give an honest assessment of our stay at this hotel and why we will never return. First off, the property has no air conditioning, despite what it says in the advertisement for the property. While it was not necessarily the hotel's fault, I would have definitely switched to an Airbnb or something that had a little more flexibility with the use of AC. The rooms get pretty warm, and opening the window during the night was a big mistake. Lots and lots of mosquitoes and no screens on the window to keep them out. We got bit like crazy. Sleeping while layered with bug spray was not ideal but sleeping in a hot room was not a good alternative either. On top of all of this, I caught some kind of viral infection, making my experience all the more unbearable.
On a different note, the staff was extremely helpful and did their best to try and make our stay as comfortable as possible. Breakfast was delicious and the room serving it was spacious. I wish they could have coffee available all afternoon because it was pretty good.
Overall, I think this place would have been perfect when the hotel was allowed to turn on their AC around June time frame. It's a little far from the main places, but it was still a pretty decent location. Sorry, I did not love this property, but this place made us want to just cut our Eropean trip short and go back home.
