Clean and refined very welcoming, friendly and professional staff, excellent restaurant service with dishes prepared with care and creativity. Contagious the friendliness and sympathy of Bernadette and fantastic hands of the physiotherapist who with her massages gives a wonderful relaxation. A refined and welcoming hotel just a few steps from the center. Great attention to detail. Excellent breakfast with cakes and pastries prepared by their pastry chef, fresh fruit and excellent products.

Newly refurbished Boutique hotel in the central of Florence with great staff and a lot of attention to detail. Very on it with the Covid situation. Felt safe. The hotel has a beautiful feel about it, great facilities, spa and outside area. Upgraded to Superior room during my 7 night stay. Definitely worth staying at and I’m fussy with 13 years experience in luxury hotels :-) I will be back.

Very friendly staff, helpful, beautiful hotel, excellent breakfast, very clean spa, all perfect. Just one note for the pool, if it had been a little warmer. And I don't know if I came in a period of water purification, but you could feel a lot of chlorine when the sanitary taps opened.

A wonderful hotel in Florence. We've stayed here twice, it's close enough to walk to nearly every site in Florence. There's a park across the street. I'd happily recommend staying here.

Best hotel that we stayed in during our Italy trip. The room was very spacious, clean, comfortable and had everything you needed. They offered a free cell phone to make calls abroad and also figure your way around the city. The pool was very nice and the ambience was just perfect. Breakfast was spectacular and various types to choose from. Location was a big plus as well, close to everything. The staff was wonderful, helpful and very very kind. If I ever return to Florence I would definitely stay there again. Thank you hotel Castri for your hospitality.

A truly wonderful hotel in the heart of Florence. Rooms v nice, aircon amazing, bar and restaurant great. Service lovely, spar and garden area a true oasis and retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. Currently chilling by the pool drinking wine. Bliss.

I am near the end of my 5 week European holiday now and no other accommodation I have stayed at compares to Palazzo Castri. This hotel is absolutely beautiful and so quiet considering it’s quite central. The staff were helpful, approachable and hospitable. The breakfast served was just divine, they have lovely rooms, and I would definitely stay again if I return to Florence. I want to say a special thank you to Teresa at reception — you are a star! Thanks for helping me out when I became ill and making it so easy to see a doctor. You made everything seem effortless and always happy to help.

We stayed at this elegant hotel in the facility and in the ways of the staff with our one and a half year old. We relaxed so much to prefer to stay here rather than take a ride downtown. We felt pampered and we rested very well although in the square in front on Saturday night some boor was not missed. But the windows are isolating from the noises.
In the joyful garden there is also a cat for an additional cuddle.
The restaurant inside was a real surprise. Great. Tasty. Light. Also the price was unexpected.
High quality breakfast and variety.

Room was a little small but very chic and the bed was extremely comfortable. Room had plenty of AC and a great view. And most of the tourist attractions are just a short walk away. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

I was amazed to see how modern, clean, and fresh this hotel was. It is actually a lot bigger than expected from the outside, and the rooms have beautiful views of the garden. I would definitely want to host a meeting or social gathering here. The spa is a really nice amenity that is available and the free of charge tea service available in the lobby is a really nice touch.

Beautiful Hotel. Professional and very pleasant staff. There is a very big indoor spa. From 4pm to 5pm the tea is served with the sweets made by them. Very nice and clean rooms Absolutely not recommended.

Great location, 15 min walk to the train station, right in the center. Standard room on the inside quiet, clean, cozy. Friendly Staff, great buffet breakfast, Spa not crowded thanks to the reservation. The pool temperature is 30 degrees. I recommend it.

This luxurious boutique hotel offers a wondrous combination of exclusivity and personality. The welcoming reception immediately make you feel at home, the lobby is pristine with elegant colors and an exceptional level of cleanliness both in and out of the guest rooms. Upon arrival, I was informed of the hotel's numerous amenities including; a private spa, steam room, Turkish baths, a small yet high end gym, etc. I was explained the procedures of booking my personal time slot for the spa, allowing for a more intimate experience. Be sure to do so, very well worth it! I had the pleasure of meeting the director of operations, Chiara, who was absolutely lovely and took her personal time to say hello and ask about my stay while enjoying my afternoon tea (which is provided daily in the stunning outdoor garden through the lobby). I was surprised the by the in room technology which recently includes a smart phone to be used throughout any guest stay, offering free of charge calls, messages, and Wi-Fi (incredibly convenient for someone like me who was only here a few days and didn't want to have to buy a new SIM card for my personal phone). All in all, I was in awe with every aspect of this hotel. I plan to revisit Italy, Florence in particular, and most definitely intend to return to this magical boutique hotel.

Fantastic hotel! Concept of the service is amazing with world class amenities and a ready to use smart phone in the room free of charge was wonderful addition to make the guests stay more comfortable. I enjoyed the afternoon tea at the wonderful garden provided by the hotel everyday. Very professional employee personels makes the stay even more comfortable. Not to mention the director o the hotel Ms. Chiara personally communicate with the guest about their wellbeing during the stay. I highly recommend and I would definitely comeback!

Very pretty location, pool area is such an oasis. Breakfast was great with lots of options. Also had dinner there which was great, normally hotel dinners are hit or miss so I was impressed. We were traveling with our toddler, staff were very helpful and accommodating towards him. The only let down was I asked concierge for items (such as tea, milk), even wrote it down as there was a small language barrier and these went unanswered until we asked again to another staff member.

Best location ever! I strongly recommend that deluxe room. Well worth the additional cost. Staff are friendly breakfast is great. This location has valet parking (small fee) the grounds are beautiful.

The hotel is well located for most of the main attractions, which are within walking distance. As a boutique hotel it is small, but that's the best thing about it. There's never too many other guests about. The staff are attentive when you need them and unobtrusive when you don't. Although the pool is small, on those hot days it's a welcome distraction from the heat. Would recommend if you're planning a trip to Florence.

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights in early May 2017 and very much enjoyed our stay. We had a junior suite on the third floor overlooking the garden and found it very comfortable and quiet with a nice view of the city. The hotel was very clean and a nice place to be, we made use of the pool and spa facilities, which I highly recommend. The staff were courteous and friendly and always ready to help with anything. The hotel location is great for sightseeing on foot and has a decent choice of restaurants within a 10 minute walk.

Recently refurbished offers an ambience for a refined stay, luxurious and welcoming rooms, and polite staff. An indoor garden will make you relax and forget to be in the vibrant downtown.

Mean closed sewer is little! In addition to having a very customer focused and unprepared, the rest is forgettable. Perhaps the last restoration dates back to the birth of Montalcini. But parents! I would add that perhaps are made a year cleaning and ten no! Carpet zozzissima low quality mobile and marci, even beds at the outlet of mondoconvenienza by zingaropoli. Definitely a hotel to avoid. Urge restoration. But civil engineering!
