Absolutely amazing place — highly recommend. Beautiful location, wonderful host. If you’d prefer to stay somewhere off the beaten track, proper Italian, this is the place. Newly restructured, elegant, luminous, spacious rooms and designed with characteristic Tuscan creativity. Breathtaking views of the Arno and countryside. Delicious breakfast! Such a shame we could only stay 1 night.
I had the most wondeful time when staying at Eridu. I felt very welcome and at home during my stay. As I was traveling by myself with public transport, Marco very kindly gave me a lift to the local train station when possible. Also, when needing inside tips for Firenze and the surroundings, varying from restaurants, sites, museums or villages, Marco is the perfect host and very happy to advise.
The B&B itself is very is a beautifully, artistically renovated old building next to the Arno river. The river's presence is hearable every day through the small waterfall, which has something calm and relaxed. Also, the B&B has a beautiful flowery garden where you can sit and relax if weather is good. Inside, the rooms are beautiful and spatious and clean, providing everything you need. The kitchen is a nice, cosy hub where breakfast is served and provides space for kitchen talks during the evening, but also during breakfast. Breakfast moreover is one of the best I had in ages. Everything is fresh and delicious and overall very copious, savoury and sweet. And of course with a nice espresso or cappuccino.
So overall Eridu provides the perfect base to explore Firenze and the surroundings and that you feel happy to return to after a long day out and about. I would definately come back whenever I can!

Beautiful and cozy place, finely decorated and comfortable in every room.
Our room was big and warm despite the freezing night outside, beds were comfortable, and I really enjoyed the duvet :)
I'd give an extra star for the breakfast in the morning, it was really good.
A recommended place, to enjoying the riverside and the countryside of Tuscany, just few minutes away from Florence.
