I cannot say enough good things about this place! We were blessed to stay 4 nights with Salvatore, Antonio, Kaci and their wonderful family of people in this beautiful castle. Everything was perfect and we will be back again. So family friendly and helpful ❤️ a definite MUST STAY ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

From the first moment you gaze upon the Castello, you know you've come to a special place. The hotel is magical, romantic and impeccably maintained. The pool was a welcome retreat from the hot, Tuscan summer, and the surrounding landscape is enchanting. Beyond the historic buildings and amenities, the most rewarding aspect of staying here is the hospitably. Kaci, Antonio, and his dad are a team of experts on the region and offered invaluable advice and excellent recommendations. I cannot stress enough how great it felt knowing we had three locals genuinely interested in showcasing their love of Tuscany and all it has to offer. Why a group of 6 young adults decided to spend 4 days in a historic hotel in the middle of Tuscany is one story, but this is why we will come back and tell our friends!

I honestly don’t even know where to start. This place is absolutely fantastic! If you’re looking for a truly remarkable establishment to spend your holiday in, please look no further. Bought and renovated by amazingly wonderful people, Castello Delle Serre is the complete package. Castle appeal, amazing service, unbelievable views, and fantastic dinner service and recommendations. I cannot rave enough about this place! I honestly cannot wait to come back soon and spend more than two nights here! Please also be on the lookout for Antonio, he’s fantastic and a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding towns and wineries. And is one individual that truly understands the term of five star service. Ugh! I’m so sad to leave. We are so blessed to have found this place in our searches when attempting to pick a castle to stay in during our stay in wine country. I’m so looking forward to coming back soon. It has zero competition.

The best place ever that I have stayed. The staff, the castle, everything was just unbelievable. We were here as part of a tour of Tuscany and Umbria and stayed 6 nights. Salvatore Gangale, the owner, was our guide for the tour. I'm not sure what else to say except I would recommend Castello Della Serre to anybody who wants to visit Tuscany.

This place is just too good. A restored Italian Castle, magnificently done over a 12 year period. The owner, Sal, and his son, Antonio, make it an unforgettable experience. Sal returned to Italy from San Diego where he owns and operated very well known and liked Italian restaurants. The Castle is in the heart of Tuscany, an easy drive for sightseeing and wine tasting. Not to be missed.

The name of the property does not disappoint expectations. This is a real castle, family run dare I say. Salvatore, the manager, presents the structure on arrival and immediately you understand to be in a magical environment. The rooms are fabulous, not to mention the pool on the castle terrace. Ideal for a romantic and relaxing stay. Recommended!

Sal and Antonio have recreated a magnificent castle with all the charm and fantastic service of the 21 century. The location as a springboard to day trip into all of Tuscany — Siena, Cortona, Orvieto, the wine district is without peer. We’ve been there twice will go again this spring.

It's a great little hidden gem. I only had a chance to have lunch there, but there's a very homey vibe to the place ~ the waitresses are kind and friendly. If you have the cash and the chance, stay there for at least a night. The view is fantastic.

I understand why this luxury B&B has so many EXCELLENT reviews. As a Top Contributor on Tripadvisor I have been reading hundreds of reviews of luxury hotels/B&B around the world. I have only seen one other hotel with so many EXCELLENT reviews as this one. How is it possible to get that high score from nearly every customer? I therefore decide to try it on my Tuscany holiday this year. And to start with the answer. This gem of a luxury B&b/Tuscan castle has an outstanding personalized service that will make your stay the experience of a lifetime! The owners – Salvatore and Antonio – makes you feel like home and with friends. And if you also look at my attached photos you will understand why this hotel is on the top of Tripadvisor! This is one of our best hotel experiences ever! Our room (no 124) was spacious and nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The bed was Queen size and very comfortable The location is perfect for exploring both Val D'Orcia (the most photogenic area in Tuscany) as well as the Chianti area. The meal Salvatore made for us on our first night was the most memorable evening of our entire trip. The breakfast was simple but excellent. We always look forward in the morning to sit on the beautiful terrace and view the countryside as we enjoyed the best cappuccino. In summary, Costello delle serre is a very well run luxury B&B offering a very high standard of quality and personal service.

Immaculate setting inside a historic castle with modern facilities. The staff was amazing, the food was phenomenal, and the location is prime to see the surrounding sites. I can't recommend Castello Delle Serre enough…

Very nice medieval castle.

STUNNING! UNFORGETTABLE! 5 STAR! Twelve years of meticulous, loving, craftsmanship restored this jewel well beyond its former glory. I'm telling you'll fall in love with this place! Seriously, everywhere you look is a postcard of perfection. I must have taken a thousand pictures and after every click, all I could say was, "UN-FREAKING-BELIEVABLE! " This is the perfect place for a dream honeymoon of a lifetime. Honestly, we started planning our return visits the day after we arrived! It's centrally located which makes it the perfect base to explore the best sites of Tuscany. The father, and son owners, and curators (both single, with a castle as their mistress) are absolutely delightful, they know all best place and even cooked us an incredible dinner.

I had the opportunity to stay here for a wedding last summer. It is simply amazing. It is perfectly Tuscan, not just a facsimile. The accommodations are luxurious, and the location is phenomenal, and every sunset is incredible.

We could not have picked a better place to stay. The property is absolutely beautiful (with views of the countryside) and the staff/owners make you feel like family. Truly enjoyed our time here — a must for anyone visiting the Siena area.
