With a peaceful setting in the Tuscan countryside, Mezzano In Chianti is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, just 10 minutes' drive from the village of Strada. It offers a summer swimming pool. Mezzano In Chianti is actually a medieval hamlet that is composed of 2 stone-walled buildings overlooking a courtyard with stone oven. Set on a hill, it offers panoramic views of the countryside. The apartments have different designs but all include terracotta floors and country-style furniture. Each one has a kitchenette and Wi-Fi connection. The swimming pool is open from mid May until mid October and has plenty of sun loungers and a gazebo with tables and chairs. The Castello di Verrazzano and Greve in Chianti are both 20 minutes' drive away. There are a number of wineries to visit in the area and Florence's historic centre is 30 minutes away by car.

For those that are looking for a place to stay in Tuscany, I HIGHLY recommend this beautiful little agriturismo. The property was beautiful, the restaurant was, and the staff was thoughtful and amazing in every way. We did a wine and olive oil tasting with them during one of our days there, and a morning walk with a guide through and around the property ending with a breakfast in the vineyard on another. They also offer cooking classes, massages, yoga, Vespa tours, and hot air balloon tours among other things. Onsite there is also a tennis court and bocce court, a beautiful pool that overlooks the vineyards, and an outdoor cinema. We had the BEST experience during our stay there. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough!
