This place has great views and the restaurant is very good. The a/c works well too. The beds are firm, sheets are ok and the pillows are flat but u think this is common in Europe. The hotel is located on top of a hill with some tight roads. Breakfast was nice as well.

Good breakfast. Nice room Even if the dust was not removed for a long time. Arrived in the evening and only slept one night. The next morning remade only bed. No dust removed or clean bath. Floor clean bad. Definitely not going back.

Comfortable rooms and also the staff. Ideal for a relaxing stay immersed in the green of Tuscany, but close to the center of Florence.

Beautiful location in Chianti, view of Florence and the Hills. Close to all services, spacious and comfortable rooms, attentive and polite staff and very affordable prices. We always come here when we often visit relatives and friends in the wonderful city.

Only thing… uncomfortable, the road to arrive, steep and narrow! But then from up there, you can enjoy a beautiful view.

Great hotel on a hilltop south of Florence. It has selfie-worthy romantic views of the surrounding hills of Florence (but not Florence itself), with a fancy restaurant directly below the hotel with lunches and dinners in the 20 to 30 euros per person range. The rooms have a soft lush quality, spacious, with good Wi-Fi, excellent cleaning service, nice drapes and decor. Large bathroom with shower, bidet, sink, hair dryer, and makeup mirror. There is a relaxing freeing feeling to the whole experience. HERE'S THE CATCH: do you want to see Florence, with its art galleries and museums? Then how are you going to go up and down the mountain beneath Villa Ambrosina? There is a walking path but it is like climbing a 20-story building, so it's possible to do if you're in good shape. This is what my wife and I did for one week during August. The hotel doesn't offer a courtesy bus to take you down the mountain to the bus stop, near a COOP (an Italian grocery/convenience store) so your options are to (1) rent a car (can be expensive at 80 euros per day) (2) hike up and down (the staff told us the shortest route) or (3) taxi (again, expensive). You do NOT want to have a car in downtown Florence — — even trying to drive in Florence is crazy with its narrow, one-way streets and police cameras to give you a ticket if you make a wrong turn.

Great location, nice views and very good customer service experience. We were in a simple/basic room which was every clean and had a nice view on the mountains and city. Can't complain for the price point if you want to be in the irea and relax away from the city center.

Beautiful hotel in a nice location but you have to have a car. Without the car it's about 20 minutes walking uphill : ( (I didn't know that). Nice and friendly staff.

This hotel was recommended to us by friends and its one not to be missed! We absolutely enjoyed this wonderful hotel located just outside of Florence. The rooms were lovely and spacious — fit for a king. The management was very helpful and even directed us to an ultra-big supermarket on the way to Florence that carries all European brands. Our visit was "off-season" and therefore the local restaurants were closed for dinner. Our suggestion would be to have dinner in Florence. We hope to have the opportunity to come back to this wonderful gem!

It has been the second time that I happened to be staying in this hotel. As in the first, the stay has been very pleasant and quiet. The place is peaceful, with good views, very quiet and the staff very pleasant. All my travel companions are also of this opinion. Close to Florence but away from the hustle and bustle and very well communicated by car.

Very beautiful historical Villa in the hills with driveway, rooms neat and clean! Conveniently located near the motorway and the Centre of Florence (10 min).

We stayed 2 nights at this pleasant Hotel, double room in main building (also available in depandance outside the hotel at lower price)
Friendly staff, clean room, new furniture, bathroom with large shower, the hotel looks recently renovated.
The only sore point: it is true that is a few km from the highway, but to get there you have to literally climb up a narrow and very steep (it's still in a hill village), may be difficult if you have powerful cars and tonnage if there is ice or snow.
