We enjoyed a beautiful meal here. Every course was delicious and innovative. And enjoying a prosecco in the gardens were delightful! The owner David was gracious and welcoming. We’ll definitely return in our next trip to Tuscany.

Peaceful location high above a lovely town called Greve. Excellent food and wine with superb rooms well appointed. The staff cannot do enough for you at Bordoni. You will find that you keep coming back year after year. Experience it to believe it.

What surprised me by the Ulrike, Villa Bordoni, sounded promising. But what was offered exceeded so many things. In a magnificent ambience with only a few tables, perfect service enjoyed like culinary highlights. This is how you imagine gastronomy. Incredible what the Uli has for a smeller to get the great addresses out. Thank you again.

This is my 3rd time returning to Villa Bordoni and it’s still as charming as the first I’ve set foot in this place, it always feels like I’m returning home… the food is amazing, the setting, the service… it has defined Tuscany for me! Their new winery and restaurant in Montefioralle is equally amazing and I definitively recommend a visit when you come!

Villa Bordoni provided the perfect Tuscan experience. It is off the beaten path so requires some driving to get around (like most places in Tuscany), but it is very close to Greve in Chianti and small medieval villages. The food (and wine! ) at the restaurant was top notch, and the staff was helpful and great. Our room was so unique and amazing — it had all the modern luxuries like a great shower and amenities, but was full of old world charm. It felt like living in an old fairy tale. We would definitely recommend Villa Bordoni for a peaceful, beautiful Tuscan vacation.

I took my girlfriend here for a romantic dinner in the heart of Tuscany. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful setting We arrived just before sunset for the evening service which starts from 7.30pm and received a very warm welcome by the staff. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful with a stunning garden and gorgeous views of the rolling hills of Tuscany. The owner himself was present throughout the evening and took an active part in serving the diners with their meals and chatting to them to make sure they were all happy and satisfied. The waiters were extremely polite and professional and the food was delicious and fresh as mentioned in the title here. Every single detail has been carefully thought out which is clear to see at all times. The wine and food is all fresh from the region and you can feel it in every bite. We ordered the gnocchi and spaghetti which was cooked to perfection and the plate of cheeses was absolutely outstanding. The Italian music playing in the background added to the overall relaxing atmosphere as did the beautiful garden. We would definitely recommend for everyone to dine here in order to experience authentic Tuscan food and atmosphere. We have been to many restaurants and none compare to this one. We will be visiting again as soon as possible.

A magical experience! The room, food, atmosphere, service and location are all top notch. Very romantic!

Wonderful property and good food. Their wine cellar offers an amazing selection. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the quality of the offered food (and also the portion size for the secondo) was remarkable. I was struggling whether I should give 3 or 4 stars — at the end I decided for 3 stars, because while everything was 'nice' and 'good', I struggled to see it as really outstanding — which would be necessary in their price class.

Villa Bordoni has received a lot of attention from the press.
It was voted, in 2006 and 2007, by one of the "Best new hotels in the World" by Condé Nast Traveler.
In 2010, one of the "Best New country Hotel in Tuscany"; In 2012 Reuters has definitely defined one of the "10 most romantic hotels in the world".
These strong confirmations have done nothing but convince us that we must strive to always improve ourselves and, whenever possible, surprise our worldly guests.

What a gem. We arrived from a frenetic day in Florence. The welcome was warm and inviting and the the experience only got better. Food, excellent uncomplicated Italian cuisine. Impressive wine list offering unusual regional wines plus the famous Super Tuscans. If you looking to recharge and take a breath make a stop here. They also offer superb accommodation.

A magical place, beauty everywhere you look. The food is outstanding and the staff and owners are so welcoming and friendly. We come most years and Bordoni is consistently amazing. A little slice of heaven on earth!

Beautiful place with amazing surroundings. I took my fiancé out for a romantic meal and the food was one of the best we've had so far in Tuscany. We also enjoyed the delicious Brunello di Montalcino!

I organised an amazing birthday lunch for my husbands 50th birthday in October last year. David and his team were wonderful and very attentive to my requests via email and nothing was too much trouble. Whilst the weather was not kind in October and we were unable to eat outside we had the most amazing rom in the Villa warm and cosy with open fire. The service and food was outstanding — everything delicious and the staff were warm and friendly. We enjoyed our afternoon and made some beautiful memories — Love Love Love Villa Bordoni. Your gorgeous little olive oil bottle even made it all the way home to Australia safe and sound.

The restaurant at Villa Bordoni is superb with traditional, yet creative dishes & good portion sizes. Quiet and idyllic surroundings. Very recommended!

Amazing place to eat and learn to cook. Stayed over the road with air bnb but would happily of stayed there. Such a special place with lovely staff and a great selection of wine.

Amazing location, stunning scenery and exquisite food. The staff were attentive and friendly and we really enjoyed our stay here for our honeymoon.

Old noble villa tucked away in the vineyards of greve in chianti. We only went to dinner and plan to go back to the hotel. The tables were set with elegance on the porch and garden with attention to every detail. The restaurant offers refined cuisine, rich in flavors and quality ingredients. All pastas are homemade and seasoned with oil produced from them that you can buy. Being in the chianti area the proposal is broad. Highly recommended for a romantic dinner.

The kitchen is refined and delicious, the service is courteous and the enchanting setting in the mountains of chianti.
The path is rather difficult since we are talking of a road damaged to a gravel non-entretenu lane.
However, the visit worth really, especially if you are for a few days in the region.

We had a fantastic Lunch at Villa Bordoni in Tuscany. The service provided by Hugo and Malvida was excellent and the wine and food Amazing! After lunch we were invited to take a tour of the hotel and reconfirmed what everyone is saying about this wonderful hidden jewel. Great hospitality with all the amenities you would expect from a 5 star property (They have 12 rooms). Thank you David for your gracious hospitality and again “Hats Off” to a talented chef. If you want to immerse in the Tuscany sun, surrounded by vineyards, silence and Serenity you won't be disappointed.
