Great place in Tuscany in the Chianti region along highway 222 (the wine road) between Firenze and Siena.

Beautiful place kind and professional staff, But at the property and the amenities should be reviewed.
In our room you do not see the TV except intermittently, the bed is unusable, 2 antique beds joined with two tables nailed and a post-war Materazzo have destroyed me accomplices pillows from 5 euros. You can not eat except cold foods, very good slices but if you have a baby a plate of pasta maybe should be put on the menu. I'm sorry I wouldn't go back if I didn't know they at least fixed the bed.

Location is quite picturesque. And the houses on this farm have definitely some character. However, we had a very uncomfortable stay. First night was absolutely sleepless, as our room seems to have still issues with mosquitoes reported by others previously. We both ended up badly bitten. We slept the second night with closed windows despite no aircon. Luckily there was a ceiling fan that helped us through the hot, summer night. Additionally our bed was creaking every time we moved and with mosquitoes flying over over we were constantly waking up each other. Bathroom was rather old and some fixes in the shower were done with a sticky tape. Breakfast was quite basic but sufficient. Served in a pleasant farm room though. We really enjoyed their cold cut plate antipasto with their local wine. It was pleasant to relax in the courtyard. Swimming pool area was also nice and relaxing. No Wi-Fi in our room. Just in the breakfast area. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Wish we could score this place higher. We may had a bad luck with the room as others didn't have issues with mosquitoes when we asked.

If you want to taste a good wine and enjoy the Tuscan countryside this is the. Better place. Rustic and out of the commercial. A. Little piece of. The. Tuscany.

Visited this vineyard as part of a personal wine tour. There is beautiful couple who owns the place (with one gorgeous dog). Greeted is with their signature wine and explained the story behind then as well.

Excellent reception, informal and max availability. The owner surprised me with the description of the "madness" of Cultivating saffron… gave me a taste of his production that I will try as soon as possible. You breathe the passion in these walls, wine, saffron, chopping boards, photos… In short, recommended for those looking for true genuineness. A special thank you to the kitchen for the delicious dinner.

Wine that keeps you happy for hours. Try their cold meat dishes and wine. It's run by a family so there is not much touristic attraction, just a very good experience. Their tours only cost 10 euros along with the wine tasting. Another good experience.

Great place to stay on the scenic Chiantigiana highway between Florence and Siena. Large rooms in the main villa and also a couple of apartments are available. They have a beautiful swimming pool. In their restaurant you can try their saffron flavoured dishes (as well as many others, of course). Excellent base from which to explore Chianti.

Great views. Friendly staff. Especially enjoyed the traditional 'grandfather's wine drink'.

I have been here more than 10 years ago along with a school group. The place is lovely and wonderful, the owner and the Lady available and courteous, rooms comfortable and clean. I was a good memory and I returned a few years later with my husband to get him this wonderful reality but couldn't find anyone … I hope there's another chance.

If you are looking for a great place to relax and a strategic place to stay in the heart of Tuscany, this is a great one. The property is actually more beautiful than the pictures. The view from the dining area out across the valley is phenomenal and serene! If you want to relax, the property is peaceful at all times of day. If you are hungry, the small staff of wonderful ladies are all amazing cooks and since the property only accommodates a small number of people, they cook just for you. They use fresh produce grown on the farm including the saffron grown right next to the house. The property is just a few minutes from a great little town named Greve which has a number of nice shops and cafes (a couple of which have free Wi-Fi). It is also right in the heart of Tuscany and a great base to use to explore the region. Florence is a short (and very pleasant) 30 minute drive away and Pisa is only 1.5 hours away. Rooms with air conditioners are very limited so make sure to request one while making reservations. We were fortunate enough to get one. The wine, olive oil, and saffron cookies produced on the property are all wonderful! The staff was absolutely delightful and helpful. Communication was somewhat challenging, but they knew enough english to make it work. I would definitely stay here again if I were so fortunate to be able to return to Tuscany.
