We were very friendly welcome with a bottle of local wine. The room was clean and with a huge bathroom. The view from the swimming pool is amazing and the breakfast delicious. We recommend this place for a great time in Toscana!

Great place! Amazing nature and views, good restaurant nearby (nuvolari, try the florentinian steak there). The peace, silence and nature make a great time.

We stayed in a two room Villa and loved the experience. It had a fully equiped kitchen, washer, washing machine and table fans. The resort was serene and beautiful. There is a small church, the pool has beautiful view (though it wasn't very clean). The restaurant just outside the resort had the most amazing wine, cheese platter and tiramisu. The fig jam and white flower honey was to die for! This is lovely place to stay at when visiting Italy with family or a group of friends.

Wonderful and enchanted place, a real medieval village renovated. Sympathy and professionalism of the staff are the real icing. We worked for a wedding and they helped and pandered to every request. Thank you very much!

Wonderful stay! Beautiful surrounds, comfortable room and one of the best breakfasts we've had whilst travelling! Definitely recommend a stay here. Bring a bottle of wine and spend the afternoon sitting by the pool.

Spectacular place to rest in Tuscany.

Faithful reconstruction of an ancient village. Absolute peace between woods, history and stones. Beautiful pool flush with panorama, it only heats up with the sun though. On foot you go to Enoteca Nuvolari, where you can eat divinely.

Tranquility, silence and beautiful view of the Chianti hills!
Hamlet consists of several stone houses that you can rent for a few days.
You will appreciate the peace of this place, reachable from the 222 highway after a short path on a dirt road.

We rented a house perfectly habitable and with all the comforts, from the furnishings, to the washing machine, dishwasher, fireplace, kitchen…
Clean, interior in "Cotto" reminiscent of past times.
Very well maintained garden with tables and chairs.
Swimming pool available.
Breakfast with a wide choice.
It is the classic place for those who need to "regenerate" or relax "listening to the silence" watching the spectacle of the hills.

Beautiful Resort and breathtaking view.

We were so excited for our stay here, but ended up being disappointed. There happened to be a wedding taking place during our stay, so we were the only non guests. Because of the wedding, the staff was very busy and when we asked to do a wine tasting in the cellar (one of the services they tout) we were told they were too busy. Our room was in the basement of a building, which made for a very damp room. Each day, our dehumidifier needed to be emptied at least twice. The Wi-Fi was not functional in our room, which was pretty frustrating as we didn't have cell service either. Not the fault of the hotel, but the wedding party staying above us was incredibly loud and up until 2AM — keeping us up as well. The grounds were beautiful and the location made for a good jumping off point, but I don't think I could recommend this place to anyone.

A wonderful cosy place to stay. Breath taking views, mostly friendly staff and a good, if basic, buffet breakfast (nice meats and cheeses). The rooms are great and the beds comfortable. I would not mind revisiting and staying a couple of days again.

We were there for 5 nights. The views are incredible and the staff is wonderful, helpful, and accomodating. Francesca even took our birthday cake to a local restaurant so that we would be surprised. She also helped us pay a parking ticket we got on or day trip to Florence. (Don't park in free spaces that are striped. Those are for motorcycles! ). The only negative is that the beds are not the best and there is no air conditioning. Great location foe exploring the Chianti countryside!

Cute hotel with excellent service but subpar Wi-Fi. The rooms are small but cosy. You can rent mountain bikes to explore the area or have a BBQ by the pool. Great place to escape the business and enjoy the peaceful, beautiful surroundings.

A place of old times… Rustic, ancient and so romantic in the midst of the green Tuscan hills. Great breakfast and rooftop pool. To try…

We went here for our honeymoon. Hands down the most authentic part of the trip. If you want an experience that allows you to be in Italy as a local rather than a tourist, this is your spot. We loved our little villa and would definitely come back!

Gorgeous! I have not slept here as I spent sometimes here only because of work, but I have to say it's gorgeous. It's absolutely stunning, merged in nature with beautiful villas and apartments. I would love to go there for a weekend.

We stayed at Borgo di Pietrafitta last June for a romantic weekend and were surprised to find a place so far from the stressful everyday life.
The Borgo di Pietrafitta is located on a hill overlooking the other and still have eyes the beautiful sunsets we saw from our apartment located near the pool.
I recommend everyone to try to get away for a weekend looking for some rest at Pietrafitta.
