An unforgettable stay at Sottotono.
What a spectacular find in the hills of Carmignano. Fabrizio and his wife were wonderful hosts, and every member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome from start to finish.
The pool was a highlight, sweeping views over the Tuscan countryside made it the perfect spot to unwind, especially with a glass of Prosecco in hand. Breakfast each morning was generous, with a great variety of options to start the day right. The rooms were beautifully appointed, warm and inviting.
Dinner service was excellent too, and the restaurant deserves special mention, top-notch, thoughtfully prepared dishes that felt like a true taste of the region.
Honestly, if six stars were an option, I'd give them. Sottotono is the kind of place that stays with you long after you've left. Can't recommend it highly enough.
