I’m not usually one to complain, so I’ll start with the positives. The breakfast was very good, the staff were friendly, and the scenery around the property is beautiful. The gardens are gorgeous, and the large pool is quiet and relaxing.
On the downside, the hotel is very isolated, so a car is essential. Walking to nearby restaurants involves using a main road with no pavement, which isn’t ideal. Reception closes at 7pm, meaning there’s no staff available afterwards, and there is no restaurant on site, so eating out is your only option.
For the price charged, I felt it was expensive. The poolside lunch menu offered poor value (€8 for a very small sandwich and €5 for a can of Coke). Overall, while the property is attractive and peaceful, it felt more like a very upmarket bed and breakfast than a full-service hotel.
An absolutely lovely place, with a delicious breakfast and incredibly kind staff. Mrs. Sonia is especially delightful and full of charm. We would definitely come back soon.

We booked a Junior Suite here for 4 nights, left after 2.
I can only assume that 'Junior' refers to the fact that you must be 3ft tall or less to stand upright in any of the rooms.
Nothing less than a glorified (badly done) attic conversion, with a rickety steel stairs that absolutely wouldn't pass a fire safety inspection.
The windows were at floor level, so the advertised 'garden view' was best accessed on your hands & knees, possibly the only safe way to navigate the low ceilings.
They advertise a restaurant, which they do have, but it is 20 minutes away by car, and there is no taxi service.
The only onsite food is breakfast, so if you don't have a hire car, you're gonna starve.
We did ask to move rooms & were told none were available.
After cracking our skulls for a 3rd time, (unavoidable) we checked out early. We requested a refund on the basis that the room was unsuitable and were refused.
The villa grounds were beautiful, but we had to check out to avoid injury.
