A lovely place to stay after a busy few days in Florence and the Cinque Terre. The owners were very friendly, we had little language in common but that wasn't really a problem and we were made to feel very welcome.
I'd recommend having a car if staying more than a few days. We arrived by train to Lucca then the E18 bus from the town, and a short walk.
It's nice slow stroll along the aqueduct to the north for groceries/restaurant, or south to the peaceful Parole d'Oro for a picnic.
Swimming pool was perfetta!

Quite place with a huge garden.
Right outside of Lucca and situated perfectly to have a beach day or go to Florence.

Extreme amounts of mosquitos. The staff seemed stressed and somewhat unfriendly. Very old interior.
