Rosa and Katia run the loveliest B&B. The kitchen is fully equipped, including an espresso machine, and Katia brings in two delicious cakes in the morning. My room also had helpful amenities like shampoo, soap and a hair dryer and was very spacious.
Katia is so warm and helpful as onsite host. She helped me book a taxi, troubleshoot air conditioning (my user error), and even lent me a steamer for my fully wrinkled dress that I packed for a wedding.
Parking is easy and plentiful if you have a car. I didn't have a car and found the 6 bus line easy to navigate into the Lucca city center. The bus stop is only a 10-12 minute walk from Corte Capitani and the bus drivers (shout out to Roger! ) were kind and helpful getting me to the right place, even when I once got on the wrong bus. 😅
I would definitely recommend a stay at Corte Capitani. I was a solo traveler when I visited this summer and would love to visit again and bring friends!
