La Sorgente Hotel

We all have a “Go To” restaurants at home, where you know you’re going to get a great meal in a warm and friendly atmosphere every time. If Christine and I ever moved to Tuscany, La Sorgente would be our “Go To” place! If you’re in the neighborhood, or have to travel to get there, the experience will be well worth your time! What a wonderful local place we found here! Spent 3 different evenings enjoying the variety of choices and would definitely go back next visit!

The overall menu selection was great the lasagna was excellent and the desert menu was wonderful the home made cheesecake with fresh fruit.

The place is definitely enchanting, among the green tuscan hills. 9 nice independent apartments in a rustic tuscan style, equipped with every comfort, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, mini football pitch and 2 swimming pools. The kitchen of the restaurant is really excellent, with dishes to suit all tastes (vegetarian I ate 10&praise). Managers and staff friendly and courteous. The sweet divine. Super-recommended!

Less than one is not possible otherwise I would give it
Company dinner with many athletes and families… agreed starter menu (in the norna) two first (rice with vegetables and penne with belt sauce) sweet (fruit tart).
We get the rice in white with warmed dryer, sauce without flavor and sweet inedible with shortcrust pastry. Tough and old.
Too bad for the place you deserve…

Wonderful place, nestled in the hills, a little paradise. Beautiful house and super manicured environment. Joel and his collaborators are fantastic, kind, helpful and always with a smile. More than excellent food.

Wonderful place manage by gorgeous people! I can only recommend it to those who want to spend time in beautiful Tuscany pampered by Giole and all his staff! Congratulations really… Go!

I was There for a motoraduno. The accommodation in the apartments next to the pool is really very comfortable and spacious, ideal for us bikers. The staff was always very friendly. Good food and great house red wine. Great Price.

Beautiful location typical Tuscan hospitality and very exceptional quality really at half an hour from Lucca Pisa Florence.

I invited my Family for My birthday by Tip from Tripadvisor and have unfortunately been very disappointed. The Food was not good (Risotto is a Shame for any Italian) and the Portions very small, except for the Starter plate.
Definitely not a Recommendation from our Side. Sorry.

The Portions are very small and offered Risotto is not really a Risotto. The Ambience does not correspond in any Way to the Pictures. Overall, the Location is a bit unkempt and run down. Service is inattentive and Waiter puts Bottle on Glass edge. Not really recommended!

Super friendly staff and nice atmosphere. I give it 5 stars for the cheesecake alone. Best I've ever had and I'm from New York! T-bone steak was ok. Filet and raviolis were nice. Great option in a small town. FYI it's off a dirt road so kinda off the beaten path.

My fresh pasta was almost not cooked. Really hard. Lasagna and anti pasta was ok. Maybe we were not at the right time (after lunch) due to travels. Staff was ok.

First of all, what's not to like Tuscany. The outside seating was breathtaking. The service was exceptional. But most of all the food was unreal. Each course was better then the last. Wanted to go back but there are so many restaurants This should be first on you list.

Restaurant provides great and tasty food served in a elegant way. Homemade ravioli is tremendous.

Immersed in a beautiful location I spent 3 days in QST splendid structure in the territory of Alta Valdera. Rooms clean and equipped with every comfort, good typical cuisine at the restaurant with a great value for money, qualified staff and always available.
I had a great time, I will return!

I was there today for Easter. Nice reception. They have strong potatoes cooked with wood and artichokes and not sautéed, of own production, really good. Wine of the area appreciable.
The rest, in any case good.
If I have to find some flaws, it's a long time… but it's Easter.

Camping is located two beautiful beaches (despite cliffs has a shingle Beach, which is rather narrow). The water is very clear and the sunsets are breathtaking. Disadvantage is that the SANSONE beach is very crowded in July and August and since this is unfortunately narrow and is not too long, he also quickly crowded! With the car, but many other beaches are within short reach, it is worthwhile to explore the island. The East is in contrast to the South where many campsites are pretty quiet. It has not many beaches in the West and in the North, the beaches are also well attended by Biodola-Portoferraio. Such as Le Ghaie, Sansone, Biodola etc. Is of course here from the well known beaches. To Portoferraio it is from the camping car about 7 minutes, with the bike, it takes a lot longer and it stretches as it goes down. You can find what you need to do the shopping but also in the small shop.
