A fantastic place for motorhome travelers! The pitch is great and offers everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The food was excellent and really made our visit even more enjoyable. The service was especially friendly and attentive – we felt very welcome from the start.
As a lovely surprise, we were even given fresh eggs when we left – such a kind gesture!

If you’re looking for a hidden gem, look no further than La Sorge Ristorante! Incredible scenery, food, and exceptional staff! Our family had an amazing time while here in Tuscany. We ate here 3 times in a week! Chef Michael and staff were so kind and welcoming, it was like eating with family! 10/10! Will be back!

We had the most perfect meal. The waitresses were patient with our lack of Italian and helped us choose our dinner and wine. The chef even made us an appetizer that had recently been taken off the menu. The food, service and atmosphere were amazing! Laura and Serena made us feel very comfortable.

We stayed here a couple of days ago and were quite disappointed with the condition of the rooms. The owner doesn’t seem to take good care of them. The shower tap was broken, and it was impossible to adjust the water temperature — it was either boiling hot or freezing cold. It was also very cold at night, and there were no blankets in the room, so we were freezing. For the price we paid, you can definitely find much better options elsewhere. (Photos attached. )

We had a wonderful dinner at La Sorgente, and it was an unforgettable experience for our family and friends. The food was homemade, fresh, and of the highest quality – every dish was full of authentic flavor and prepared with care. What made the evening truly special was the owner and Serena — both warm, positive, and genuinely passionate about their craft. Theirs hospitality made us feel at home and added a personal touch to the whole evening. La Sorgente is a place where excellent cuisine meets heartfelt service, and we can’t recommend it highly enough.

All was great. And the meal was delicious. The eat was prepared by handmade. And lovely service.

Impeccable Experience! We had the benefit of dining on a quiet evening. We were able to meet Chef Mike (who spoke little English but we managed with help of the kindest server, Serena, who did speak some English) and we just followed all of his suggestions from him. It was the BEST meal we had in the entirety of our two week Tuscan experience… and we ate some fantastic food while in Italy! He capped off our multi course meal with a perfectly prepared medium rare steak topped with julienned artichokes. The finale was a sublime warm pear cake. I asked him if he'd come to America and be our personal chef it was that good! Happy New Year Chef Mike and Serena! Thank you for treating us like family!

Camping is located two beautiful beaches (despite cliffs has a shingle Beach, which is rather narrow). The water is very clear and the sunsets are breathtaking. Disadvantage is that the SANSONE beach is very crowded in July and August and since this is unfortunately narrow and is not too long, he also quickly crowded! With the car, but many other beaches are within short reach, it is worthwhile to explore the island. The East is in contrast to the South where many campsites are pretty quiet. It has not many beaches in the West and in the North, the beaches are also well attended by Biodola-Portoferraio. Such as Le Ghaie, Sansone, Biodola etc. Is of course here from the well known beaches. To Portoferraio it is from the camping car about 7 minutes, with the bike, it takes a lot longer and it stretches as it goes down. You can find what you need to do the shopping but also in the small shop.
