February or the beginning of March is a great time to go to Arezzo, as there are virtually no or very little tourists and Arezzo is a very agreeable city, full of life, giving you an idea that time is still a good asset, as the world around is turning quite fast. It is the third year I was using Graziella Patio Hotel, and I booked again a room looking to the rearside garden and a tree. The comfort of the double room was good, including a comfortable bath room with window. One of the particular assets of the hotel is its extremely nice and forthcoming reception staff which is welcoming you from year to year. If you need an advice on restaurant or dry cleaning being arranged, everything fine. 3 Bicchiere in the city center got now a very fine restaurant, and also Gastronomia Cervo close by is a nice place, a little bit like from an old fashioned film. Thus, Graziella is a wonderful base to discover Arezzo, even the churches. And there was something really, really extraordinary : Just opposite of the hotel was a Gallery, named "Grace Gallery", selling incredible "paintings", including Guido Reni, but not just, but severals. And, that is who I discovered it, a lamp (but that is the lamp of the XX. Century, "Gallé", from France). The Person running — indeed — the Gallery was Artemio Buzzi, an indeed important person of weight in Arezzo. When he died — inadvertantly — early this year, at 87, a got a mail from the hotel, decent.
