Great location for walks, close to bus stops. Vintage hotels and therefore with period-appropriate décor (carpetinto in our room).
Pro:
very nice room staff
Beautiful and bright breakfast room
Stube room for gorgeous, typical and well-groomed dinner
Bed/culletta for our daughter in excellent condition as well as her sheets
Breakfast buffet and afternoony dinner
CONS: Short beds (my husband 177cm tall touched the side of the bed with his feet… site was not explicit)
No bidet (was not explicit on site)
Very expensive water (3, 90 euros for 75 cl! That by the way I only knew at check out, in other facilities I was presented with the extra total every morning at breakfast)
Breakfast time (personally 7:45 is late, especially for those with young children)
FOOD: AVERAGE QUALITY… nothing exceptional.

You could almost always choose between two seconds, except in the evening of the fish (we would have liked to have the alternative to the fish)
I do not recommend it for families, because in case of bad weather or if like me you have a very small girl who walks little, there is no swimming pool, the "children's corner" is old, neglected and cold… used as a semi-detached closet; Santa Cristina is small and obviously does not offer the possibilities of nearby Ortisei.

The hotel has a characteristic property for the place where it is located, but it should still be modernized because in some places it is too old. Good breakfast, restaurant a little less, set menu and seafood. Weird for a holiday in the mountains! No choice! But what's even more absurd is the 3-point bottle of paid water. 90th!
But other than that, my review is bad for the experience I had about the room. A few months ago we booked a double with balcony. Upon our arrival they take us to a room almost in the attic with a small window, an antique closet, and a double bed placed next to the wall, basically one of the two could not get off except bypassing the other. With the reservation in hand I speak to the secretariat who begins to find absurd excuses. Everything would be due to the fact that it was a night (x luck) and that that was the room without a balcony and would take me away 20 euros! I insist on saying that that was the room that on the site corresponds to the single room. But the lady makes several excuses: even claims that the bed attached to the wall is a bed to the French! Ridiculous… I insist that it has particular dimensions not wall on one side! In short, a series of absurd excuses when it would have been enough to admit that they had no other rooms despite the reservation! After this discussion that spoils the relaxing atmosphere of the holiday, I return to the room where I just can not settle down. Until the phone rings: magically a new room pops up!

What about this little mountain hotel laden with history and atmosphere:Fantastic! Masters in the art of receiving with sobriety and measure. Never over the top but always modestly elegant. Rooms furnished 80s but with taste and complete with all the comforts. Excellent cleaning. Great service. Total staff availability. Great cuisine. All set in a fairytale landscape. How many times have my family and I stayed here? The first time my husband was 4 years old, … he's 53! Happy stay at all!

Well organized, clean, comfortable Hotel with public transport we use, owners and professional staff and very helpful to the needs of the guests.

One of the oldest structures of S. Cristina, perched behind the village church and with very manicured interiors. Very characteristic are the two rooms of the restaurant ("Stube" and "of the artists"). We ate very well. Quaint dishes and quite nice service.

We stayed here Jan. 2017 and we loved it. The hotel staff was fantastic. They made us feel special. The food was excellent and the room was very comfortable. These pics are from our room. Beautiful area. We would like to return and stay again at the Charme Hotel Uridl.

Amazing hotel. So close to ski areas. Wonderful food. Charming atmosphere. Kind staff. Picturesque.

What isn't to love? The staff was friendly and spoke several language, the hotel itself is quaint and gorgeous, the views from your window are beautiful and the restaurants serve delicious, hearty food. The prix fixe was an especially good value.
I can't wait to visit again!

Worst experience ever! please make sure you really think twice before choosing this hotel. Most of what they describe is not real. Sheets are disgusting not even a one star hotel offers something like that. They had holes everywhere. The towels were all ripped. My room described a deluxe or superior and it was so small that we could not open the luggages, and they do not care, they will not solve your issues, they just careless and ask you to pay anyways 100%. We had to call the police in our check out because the owner mr. Nicola, never wanted to show up, he kept telling the girls at front desk that he will not come to solve. What a nightmare this hotel. No one to help at all. Then he tells all his guests that he has a deal with a company for ski passes and rentals and guess what? that company is his and he does not mention that and rip you off. This guy is the worse. What a thief. We were 11 people and spent more than 5000 euros and asked him the whole week to come to the hotel and face all the issues and he refused to. He knew he had to give us a discount for all the issues and bad time we had, and he was afraid to show up. Later on we saw a couple with similar problems, they were just leaving the hotel very disappointed. Also very important, elevators do not stop in the floor where the rooms are located, they stop half way either up or down, so you have to carry luggages to go up or down. A disaster.

The hotel has the worst customer service I've experience in many years. DON'T MAKE the booking in advance, outside of their seasonal open days since they won't respond to you before that, even if you have an urgency and need to make a change. When you try to talk to them, first you will have hard time finding someone who speaks English, then you'll be transferred from one person to another and no solution will be offered. The hotel is located on a ski slope and accessible only by the lift, so you'll be locked there during evenings, 'enjoying' mediocre food and rude service. Come here at your peril, terrible service and place that will ruin your vacation.

It is a beautiful hotel and is located on the famous Saslong slope, famous for the ski world cup. It is a breathtaking place.

One of the most oldest hotels in the Val Gardena, a small but very elegant, welcoming and hospitable.
