We were now already the 2. Changes in the Verdinser Hof, and again had perfect days in the dream-like region around Merano. Were in front of 3/4/5 years, in this house, the difference is to today serious. The backlog of renovation. Breakfast unimaginative for 4SterneS, no fresh juice, no salmon,
Cheese and sausage is always the same, Camembert, a variety, no demand for it; you want to a
Scrambled eggs, abundant cereal, and grains as filler. Rolls bake up. In the evening, you could for example write; cauliflower and potatoes with either meat or
Fish. Salad equal to a buffet for a week. The room was also not 4SterneS, the bathroom was in the half-dark and the shower was dangerous, because there is no way to avoid of holding, be sure to are Shampoo
or shower gel because of the danger of Slipping. All in all, we felt not welcome as before, but only as a
inadequately supervised guest. A laudable exception is the Indian staff was here
Service.

The hotel and grounds are beautiful. The dining area is very nice. The food quality and dining experience is exceptional. The rooms and entire area are very well maintained. The management and staff are the best you will find. We will return and return!

Stayed in July at this hotel and were very disappointed. Very unfriendly hotel owners who don't even think it necessary to welcome your guests. The boss walks past one in the morning without a Good Morning ect. The waiters are as unfriendly as they are moody. When Italians were guests, we suddenly had to vacate the seat we had already had for a week and were supposed to sit down somewhere else. Our place had a beautiful view to the outside. The problem was just that my son who was in a wheelchair did not get to the assigned one. When we made kelnner aware that this was not possible, only that the boss wants to. When we asked the boss why she knew nothing. To eat is to be said. Soups taste very much like packet soup. The fish is very often watery. Flesich has a lot of flax and looks tough. No air conditioning throughout the hotel.
But the firing was paying. Then the boss came and thought I could also pay without an invoice and we can then have a discount — because the Germans always have black money. This behaved with the unkindness — I can not recommend this hotel.

Goods in August 2018 for 9 nights in the Verdinser Hof. We are not coming any more. This is no longer a 4-star S hotel, but a 3-star hotel at best. Were already here 2 years ago. There was everything tiptop.
Rooms: had 2 room rooms on the 3rd floor. Very needy renovation! High floor carpet no longer contemporary/unhygienic! The first nights we couldn't sleep much, because way too hot, air conditioning: wrong indication!
Balcony a cathastrophe. Very narrow, with disgusting green carpet or similar. And ancient plastic chairs as well as completely scorched tablecloth.
Outdoor pool/indoor pool: The beautifully landscaped outdoor pool with sunbathing lawn were among our main decision-making criteria to spend our summer holidays here. Unfortunately, the outdoor pool (in hot summer 2018! ) was only 20 degrees cold. For the children a no go. On day 5 of our holiday it turned green. Just looked disgusting. Chef said: des isch Natuur! I would say, just before tipping over. So the outdoor pool was completely done for us. Indoor pool wasn't the cleanest either, but it just went. The entire pool area would need urgent renovation. Especially the carpet around the indoor pool drove the disgusting pustules in my face. Honestly, I haven't seen anything like it.
Food: Dinner meets the 4 star level. Was delicious!
Breakfast a catastrophic! You can't be more imaginative! 3 stars no more. Almost no fresh regional products. Juices. Cheap industrial rotze.

It is South Tyrol where perfection is home. The hotel is beautifully situated along the south face of the valley a few hundred meters above Meran. The bus station is 30m from the property and the gondola that brings you to the hiking area about 300m. The hotel has a beautiful view with sauna lounging areas arranged in terraces. The food is phenomenal and a five to six course dinner is served every night.

We had a very good time, a relaxed and quiet place with excellent views and helpful staff. Don't miss the downstairs sauna area and the freezing cold bath.

Were the 2nd time here and will come back. A dream for sauna lovers. The other wellness offers are also really good. Culinary delights are here.

Has everything you need in it. Good food, a lot of Wellness areas, good beds, nice rooms. In the Service there were two small problems.

Room good. Staff bad. Unkind, patchy, unprofessional. During billing, we were billed drinks that were never consumed. Dinner disappointing, maximum average, definitely not appropriate for a 4 * hotel. Quality class Bahnhofseck. Spa loveless, swimming pool area relatively outdated and water in both the swimming pool and the hot tub significantly too cold. The jewel of the whole complex (the sauna village) only open from 2pm to 7pm!
Verdict: No recommendation, stay was very disappointing. Have canceled the stay early due to the above reasons.

Beautiful Wellness Hotel above Merano – approx. 600 meters above-in the heart of Verdi. I like the Merano card is included, because with that we can use the bus for free, which runs only a few meters from the hotel, to Schenna and then further to Merano Hbf. There are also many hiking trails around here. The wellness area is extensive and includes a rustic/quaint outdoor area, which was created with a lot of love. Unfortunately we only had one room with a view of the courtyard and the Volunteer fire brigade. The room itself is generously cut and consists of a large sleeping area with attached spacious bathroom with shower. There is also a small living room with a balcony. All in all spacious and clean. The breakfast is varied and even includes a small department gluten-free. In the evening there is a menu that must be pre-ordered at breakfast. Special requests or incompatibilities are tried to take into consideration.

A very pleasant ambience, very nice rooms, a particularly friendly staff and excellent cuisine.
The Saunadörfel is very interesting and it gives pleasure to visit; It could be just a little ' tidier '.

Location in Verdin is very good. Beautiful view, rooms are nice and clean. Food was very good. The sauna is totally quaint and unique. Parking garage is also suitable for larger vehicles.

Have chosen our holiday also because of the beautiful pictures on the Internet (Sauna landscape). But it all looks a little different on the ground. What a pity.

Nice hotel with very nice staff. The rooms are spacious, clean and we had a balcony with loungers. The dining room and bar have a great ambience. Prices are normal.
I found breakfast a bit simple and not varied. You expect something different. The wellness area inside is beautiful. Outside it gets confusing and too dark in the evening. Unfortunately, the saunas are approftly and do not get really warm. Unfortunately, no additives (fragrances) are offered. The car park is also great.

Really impressive place. It eats well, panoramic rooms, sauna, swimming pool, children's playroom and covered parking. Friendly staff, clean and well maintained place. Recommended.

Der Verdinser Hof is a beautiful hotel located on the mountains overlooking the Valley in which it is located.
The views from the dining room is beautiful and the breakfast was amazing: sweet, salty, and fruit at will. In the afternoon you can have a snack tasting of delicious cakes. As for dinner I don't agree with the choice of offering menu with international cuisine and typical Trentino not.
The Spa is wonderful, along the side of the mountain there is a path that takes us to different types of sauna and cubicles with hammocks, beach chairs and blankets at will. If you don't want to venture outside, inside there are the pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room.
The hotel also has a large indoor parking.

4 days in total relaxation! Great food, friendly staff, good quality if not for indoor spa swimming pools a little on the cold side, village spa (included in stay) to be missed!

Location for Hiking, very good and quiet and the view beautiful. The facilities in our double room (306) corresponds to only one 4**** category, especially the bathroom is antiquated, only 1 sink, no BD, and the shower in the bathtub, which only half was accessible, as well as no separate toilet. The Elevator is ancient. There is no Hotelboy ready, with Luggage on arrival and departure to assist, was also of the Rezeptionkräften not offered. When Büffetabend was the tables where the buffet was presented, even while the guests in the dining room, sat down, noisily dismantled. In the dining room, was missing on the tables of a loving table decorations, tasteful decoration was in all areas of the hotel not available. The family Illmer was extremely rare for our guests to look, let alone languages with the guests. We travel very often in 4****S Hotels, we can but do not explain what the Verdinser Hof an 4****S Hotel. We have the "personal touch" or the "love guided Hotel" is missing. Unfortunately, we have the impression that this Hotel in the years to come, and only by its superb location is characterized.

As regulars in The Verdinser Hof, we were very excited as the Hotel of of the younger Generation. But we has been Surprised with how much sincerity and commitment the Hotel is managed. Also the culinary delights from the Breakfast buffet and in the evening from 6-gear menu only the Best. Very friendly and Attentive staff. Nice and friendly rooms with view of the valley. Very nice reception with Begrüssungsapero in this great Hotel. We felt in this very familiarity led hotel establishment from the outset very well. Super-equipped room. The good Zimmerfee has us every evening with new creations (characters) with the bedding in surprise. The day began with a huge Buffet. It was missing to really nothing. In the afternoon you could after Hiking many delicious BBQ Buffet items. The dinner every day was sensational, excellent light cuisine. The Tirolerabend has us particularly impressed. Very nicely presented, the eye eats as well known also with. Wide variety of massage types, each Time was a blessing. Also the bathing and the sauna area was very nice. Very, very nice service made our stay a Highlight. We can this hotel highly recommend and will come back for sure.

The Hotel has wellness area 1 outstanding, both in quantity and quality furniture.

Excellent cleaning. The only flaw the dinner reservations, or x x or language disorganization often happened that the dishes were all or were other, despite segnassimo directly on the menu left at breakfast time the number of meals chosen.
Anyway it really deserves.

Abbiamo soggiornato per alcuni giorni nell'agosto del 2015 (2 adulti e un bambino). La posizione è sicuramente suggestiva e l'hotel nelle zone comuni è ben tenuto e gradevole in particolare modo la zona della terrazza utilizzata per le cene all'aperto. Bella la zona piscine e la SPA. La stanza 109 dove abbiamo soggiornato non è tuttavia degna di un 4 stelle superiore, forse neanche di un 3 stelle, in particolar modo il bagno piccolissimo e con perenni odori sgradevoli. Buone le colazioni e I buffet pomeridiani, appena sufficienti le cene dove il cibo era ben al di sotto della media (per I primi la scelta tra pasta al pomodoro o all'amatriciana penso non sia consono alla somma richiesta dall'hotel per la mezza pensione). Lo staff è stato sempre cortese e molto disponibile, alcune volte difficile la comunicazione in italiano. Nel complesso siamo stati bene ma non ci ritornerei per un altro soggiorno. Nella speranza possiate migliorare alcuni aspetti. Cordiali Saluti.

Wonderful Hotel in a fantastic location. Without exception, very nice staff, a lot of effort to give all the guests to meet. One feels from the first moment here probably. Very nice terrace with views over the Pool and the sunbathing area at the gorgeous surroundings. Beautiful dining room with a delicious 6-course meal. Particularly has us the BBQ evening in the garden in fine weather, in a relaxed atmosphere please. Unfortunately, we were only two days in the Hotel, but we are looking forward to a reunion with extension. Highly recommended!
