Historic Belle Epoch Hotel. Well-kept, renovated, technically up-to-date, good pool area for a city hotel. The good cuisine is striking. HP, unlike most other city hotels with their own kitchen, is a really good place to recommend it.

Nice hotel good location and helpful staff. Wonderfull garden with sitting area. Haiking or downtown both options are good from this hotel. The only thing is the A/C a bit old and need to be changed.

Room large and quiet, clean pool and with manicured lawn, sauna. Friendly and precise staff. Great restaurant.

Rooms were functional and very clean, as well as out to the garden, very, very quiet. We slept best on our bike tour here.

Car parking spaces in the car park. Please make a reservation in advance as the number is still limited. We had a different information from our organizer and had not reserved. Nevertheless, the staff was very helpful and found a solution. Fantastic!

Good Location. A Little bit of the Years. Breakfast very Standard, very Italian. Staff polite and helpful. Priced ok. Garage opposite all Right. Clean. Equipment common.

Central location. Downtown is 5 minutes away on foot.
Large clean air-conditioned rooms. Nice competent staff at the reception.
Breakfast is also rich with freshly fried eggs, sausage, cheese and me all kinds of coffee.
I can't rate the restaurant because we visited the Resturants in Bolzano due to the central location.
The completed and "free" parking lot is also positive.

Beautiful Hotel, who magt old houses, is right here, we feel comfortable here and Bolzano a great city to linger.

I stayed at the Stiegl for work reasons 4 nights and I have to say it is outstanding both in terms of staff and in terms of structure. The reception and the availability are the top, as well as the cleanliness and the comfort of the rooms, the quality of the food and the courtesy. The location is central because a short walk from the center and the station. In Summary I would say I highly recommend it.

We have been a regular guest at this hotel for 13 years… it's always beautiful to arrive here… Bolzano has become our second home…

Staff very very rude, I think this is the manager, treats the customers with a rudeness never seen. Take a ride on TP and you will see that every negative review is written by someone who has had to deal with this subject.
The hotel is not bad though maybe it was a 4 star one time, since the furnishings are 70 years old) The breakfast good and plentiful, the location fairly centric. Wi-Fi doesn't work. Prices however high, 160 euros per night is better. Avoid.

Staff extremely rude, unfortunately, we had a terrible experience with the guy at the reception, I have been staying at hundreds of hotel worldwide and I have never been treated like this. Having also checked TripAdvisor, every bad rating has something to do with this guy, it cannot be a coincidence. They should fire him.
Having said that the hotel is near the city center, breakfast is good, rooms are quite big but Wi-Fi DOES NOT WORK (please also check other ratings in TP) and it's quite expensive for what it offers.

On this Hotel there is little to say and a lot to live. The staff is really very helpful, the hotel and the rooms in general are very cozy and clean.
I think it is, if not the most central, one of the most located hotels in the absolute center.
The breakfast is very plentiful and varied and many rooms have a beautiful view of the garden, the mountains and the pool.
I highly recommend it to everyone, you will not regret it.

My room is the superior and the bed is great the fantastic mattress equipped with an extra mattress in Memory.
Breakfast offers an endless variety of strudel cakes and lots of other delicacies.

Simple and nice rooms! The reception staffs are friendly. 10 minutes walking distance to the old town area. The breakfast is normal thou.

Great location: You can easily walk to both the old Town and the station. Clean rooms I personally prefer the comforts because newer and quieter even if facing the street. The Classic are facing the inner park but slightly more antiquated (carpeting instead of parquet and faucets without mixer). Free Wifi throughout the property and plentiful breakfast with plenty of choice. The outdoor parking is free and very convenient.

Great breakfast that is mostly Austrian and continental inspired; although there is no menu, one can order eggs from the kitchen. Rooms are good, comfortable, but come winter there is no chance of air conditioning. There is a small "Wellness Room" that acts as an exercise suite and contains reasonably modern equipment (v. Small). Friendly staff and good location that is within walking distance of the town centre. Be aware that rubbish collection is daily from outside the hotel at 6am! Shut the windows before then… All in all an enjoyable stay — 4 stars!

This time it was just between station, but this stay has made you want more!

Historic Hotel but completely restored with all the comforts. Very helpful staff, very clean and quiet rooms. Availability of sauna. International buffet breakfast very plentiful and with many typical local products. Parking availability fenced front hotel. Located 500 from the station or the city centre.

Hotel is renovated and in a very good condition. Clean, friendly staff, good breakfast. There should be more fresh fruit and please also more choice of cheese.

Nice hotel within walking distance of all the city sights, restaurants, and more. Parking was easy and in inner-Italian cities that is important! Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room was comfortable, clean, modern but nothing exciting. We had a good sleep though and were pleased we stayed there.

Good location and pool so refreshing after pounding the pavements.

The hotel is in a discreet location at 5/600 Mt from the centre of Bolzano. The room is modern compared to the rest of the hotel which instead looks more classic. Breakfast is a good mixture of sweet and savory with salami and cheese, various types of bread and fresh vegetables. For the sweet instead there are various types of croissants and other products all small but good as well as various yogurts and cereals. The service I think is great, all very kind and professional. Also the cleanliness is of a very good standard.

We stayed here last summer. We had a great time … the Hotel is situated just minutes from the Centre of Bolzano … and a few minutes walk from the railway station … the staff was very friendly and polite … regarding breakfast plenty of choice … and is very clean … the rooms are very comfortable and quiet … We were so happy … and if needed we will be back …

Everyone is friendly, the hotel is welcoming and the rooms have everything you need.
Dinner on 31/12 no particular organization (there was still told) but the menu truly exquisite, delicious! Even the subsequent dinner of the highest quality! We will be back!

Reception service: top notch — service breakfast: overwhelmed and so unfriendly/hectic. Breakfast itself is good to very good and can be enjoyed on the terrace. Small nice swimming pool in a beautiful garden. The location is good: No 10 minutes walking to the Centre. Paid underground garage for motorcycles.
Conclusion: as a city hotel, recommended.

Positive:
The location is great, close to the station (5 min, 10 min quiet) and Center (same speech), in a quiet street. Rooms clean and quiet. Staff friendly and always helpful, even for advice on excursions and information about Bolzano and surroundings. The bed was really comfortable. Room free wireless but the signal was insufficient.
Negative:
Breakfast was a bit lacking but was renewed up to 10. The room is a bit bare and out of nowhere. The whole thing is a little from modernisation. The heating was insufficient and the air conditioner worked only from air conditioning and not with hot air (there were only the radiators). The blinds were broken and opened with the wind let the light in the morning, thank goodness there was a heavy curtain to cover the light. Also there wasn't even a pen or the hotel sheets as gifts, gadgets and accessories to a minimum!
Conclusion:
3 star Hotel, everything points to a like voting that I leave.
If you are interested in saving and you just want a comfortable bed on which to sleep without trinkets, near downtown, is the place for you.
