Very clean and obviously newly renovated hotel. Comfortable beds, delicious breakfasts and only about a 10-minute walk from the centre. Windows insulate well. So you hardly get anything from the street. Behind the house very nice garden area with pool that invites you to relax …

Best Breakfast with the most delicious Chocolate Barns in the World. We particularly like the Elevator with the Fish in the Basement. The Room is very large and beautiful for us.

We were at Hotel Luise for the first time last week and felt very comfortable. A nice hotel, great motto room, delicious breakfast, large pool area (with enough loungers), bar with fair prices and great porch — and great service! The staff organised us a free wine tasting nearby.
Also delicious was the fully equipped picnic basket we got from the hotel and made a great trip on the hotel's free rental bikes.

We were often in the hotel very nice and friendly staff the rooms are very nice and the breakfast buffet very sumptuous everything your heart desires you will find. We like to go there.

The hotel was recently renovated. It is right on the main road, so it has a very good connection, the windows are so well insulated that it is never noisy when the window is closed. It is super modern with chic old fashioned accents. The rooms all have a motto, but are not cluttered. Of course they are always clean. The breakfast as well as the dinner are top and the staff will try to satisfy you every wish.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, but it was a little on the expensive side. The location is great, the breakfast was good, but the coffee service was not the best.

A Lovely hotel a short walk to the lake. Its modern and clean with a travel stories concept which is really unique. There is an excellent breakfast buffet with a huge choice of delights. It's a shame there's no dinner service in January. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for only one night last week, but what a great hotel!
Right at reception, the people were very friendly and accomodating. They even noticed my husbands birthday that day.

We had one of the typewriters rooms, which I absolutely loved. Tolkien quotes on the wall in a hotel room? My book loving heart made a happy dance!
Just behind the reception they have this book nook, where you can leave a book from yourself behind and take another one home. What a great idea!
Breakfast is … well… perfect. So much fresh, homemade food is just a perfect way to make you happy in the morning. Cakes and sweets, different homemade marmalades, homemade bread, yoghurt and cornflakes, muesli, fresh veggies, fresh eggs, … it’s all there, healthy and fresh!
If we come that way again, we will defenitely stay in Hotel Louise, without doubt!

Nice hotel, great staff and strategic location in Riva del Garda.

Not plus ultra. The best 4 * hotel in Italy, for us. Everything is perfect, location, cleaning, bike, breakfast sweet and salty, parking, kettle and fresh fruit in the room, very friendly staff including the good and sympathetic Roberto. We have been coming for years, we will continue to come back.

Great! Nice rooms and spacious, great location, and friendly service and smiling, pity both October and we don't have a chance to try the wonderful pool. Anyway great hotel!
Excellent food, breakfast exaggerated and delicious, also excellent dinner a la carte.
In short I have not seen seen flaws!
They also gave us the gift of Areivederci. Spectacular Hotel!
If I go back to shore it will definitely be the Luise my first choice!

Very nice, vintage-looking hotel in 1959. Modernized keeping a bit of a vintage look. Very clean, staff very courteous, good and varied you the breakfast that the dinners. It has an outdoor swimming pool with garden and deckchair. Ample parking inside. The location is a stone's throw from the centre and the Lake and the Convention center.

We stayed at the hotel Luise the second time now. The location of the hotel is great. The breakfast buffet and dinner are excellent, just delicious. Rooms are quite nice, furnished with a lot of attention to detail, but with little storage possibility. There is also a very cute, dear "hotel cat" that we would prefer to take with you;-) However, we would like to criticize the Organization for dinner with larger groups of travellers. Unfortunately, this time we had the feeling of having dinner in a canteen instead of sitting in a 4 * hotel restaurant. The volume at the food was unbearable. Although the hotel has a second dining room, it was not used to reduce the noise level a little. What a pity! Last year we had very positive experiences and were able to enjoy the great food as well. This year we (as well as other guests) wanted to "flee" very quickly.

A great hotel with nothing (really) to fault Situated on one of the main roads from Riva Del Garda, Luise is a perfect base for the Riva area. It's a 5-10 minute walk to the center of town and the same to the lake. We were in one of the 'Map Rooms' (312), a good sized double with sofa, it also benefits from a balcony (just) over looking the lake and the mountains flanking it. The bathroom is a good size with shower. The room was very clean and tidy. A welcome addition was the air conditioning. There is free Wi-Fi that's a good speed, this is accessible all around the hotel. Breakfast was above and beyond the normal hotel breakfast with traditional continental, omelettes made to order, lovely breads, pastries and cake. We ate at the restaurant twice in the evening, both were lovely meals. There a few staff deserving of a special mention, Roberto who works in the breakfast / dining area was always super cheerful and helpful. Aldona the receptionist was very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Lorena behind the bar was lovely although she did call me crazy for walking up to the Chapel St Barbara, she was probably correct. The only TINY negative was, even though we were in a double bed there were two single duvets. This might be an Italian thing. With this in mind Luise would score a solid 99.9% We are already planning our next visit.

First impressions … wonderful. Fresh and clean. Staff friendly and welcoming. Facilities excellent. Evening meal well cooked, presented and varied: much needed after a long journey. Breakfast to die for … Roberto, the breads are fantastic. This is our 9th year in Riva and, so far, this is the best hotel.

Well presented hotel with all facilities well above standard. Breakfast as in most places in Italy are awesome. Pool is amazing with large garden areas surrounding pool. Short walk to beach through a public garden. 10 min walk to centre of Riva. Pity the land in front of hotel presents poorly but not in the control of hotel. Overall great stat and fantastic staff.

The hotel is highly recommended by its location, its fabulous interior and the incredibly nice team. A wonderful plus are the newly purchased bicycles, which are available for rent free of charge. The team around Stella, va Roberto and Daniela at the reception and Camilla and Lorena at the pool bar are always at your side with advice and deeds. Thank you for the nice but unfortunately too short stay.

Wow, Wow, Wow, Amazing Hotel, Great Staff, Highly Recommended. Week stay, and half board so breakfasts and dinners. We had booked a week stay here with a tour company for our 5th wedding anniversary. And what can I say, its hard to put into words how special this week was and how extra special it made the week due to the amazing staff at Hotel Luise. The hotel is also of extremely high standard. No matter what the request or the questions we had asked during our stay the staff where always available and happy to help. Unsure where to start with this review I guess, we will start from the beginning. We arrived late on the first night of our stay and unfortunately the restaurant had closed, however they were able to arrange for a meal for us and other guests who had arrived late. We checked into our room and we were amazed at how clean not only the rooms but all aspects of the hotel. The bar area is amazing with a piano etc. The next morning we thought we would give breakfast a try, we stayed in Riva 5 years ago for our honeymoon and we had been a little disappointed by some of the options in the hotel we stayed at during that time, but not with Hotel Luise, there are options for everyone within their selection of buffet breakfast and they can also make items to order also if required. The breakfast was amazing and the staff during the breakfast time where always very pleasant and helpful.

There are now 8 years we come to Luise and increasingly we are fine!

Great place very close to the town centre but also the lake. Both 5-10 minutes walk. Very nice breakfast and nice back yard with pool. Modern and very clean. Free carpark.

What a shame! Building a nice looking designer hotel and then turning it into an empty box without any soul. We stayed at the Luise for a week with our grown-up kids, it turned out a huge disappointment. It's called a feeling hotel, but it completely lacked feeling for guests. The rooms were small and didn't look like the designer rooms they show in the internet and on their leaflets, it could not have been more classic. The comfort of the room was average, the wind was blowing through the window (even if closed), the shower was 65 x 65 cm (never knew they existed that small) and the fan in the bathroom was making a lot of noise. The ladies from roomkeeping however were friendly and did a good job. The restaurant was the biggest disappointment, although our touroperator announced good cooking, I've never eaten this bad in a four star hotel for the last 10 years. I can understand that you choose a buffet formula for practical reasons but this was unbelievable. I was completely selfservice, with products that were either falling appart while being to long on the chauf-plat or completely dried out while being to long under the heating lamps. We mostly sticked to the salad buffet and the pasta (and skipped the main course and even dessert). Wine prices were correct, but the food didn't deserve any wine. The desserts were mostly delivered deepfrozen and often served in undercooled state. I wonder if anybody in this hotel has ever attented a cooking or a hotelschool.
