We have spent 2 nights at Brezza d'Estate. Staff has greatly welcomed us with a full tour of the properties and lots of advices. We had an appartment with 2 bedrooms and a big living room with kitchen. It was a bit cold to taste the swimming pool but it was tempting. There is a shared washing machine. The view is stunning and the garden is beautifully managed.
We were warmly welcomed by Sandra, who was absolutely lovely and gave us a detailed and long introduction to the hotel and area. A bottle of wine was a nice touch.
The facilities are nice, and the location is convenient for exploring places San Vito Lo Capo, Trapani and taking trips to Favignana.
The hotel does make an effort to welcome families with touches like buckets and spades for the beach, which we appreciated. However, the pool rules were extremely strict, and we often felt like we were being watched, which made it uncomfortable to relax with the kids.
One evening we were also told off for noise despite not making any, which left us feeling unfairly singled out and uncomfortable, again.
The practical side could also be improved: our family of five was only given two toilet paper rolls for four nights, and when we asked for more it became an awkward interaction.
The rooms aren’t serviced, which was fine, but the pillows were very uncomfortable and the shower had almost no water pressure.
Valderice itself is a ghost town with little happening, so don’t expect much in the town (not the hotel’s fault). Overall, it’s a nice hotel with friendly staff, good value for money, and a handy base for exploring Western Sicily area — but the atmosphere wasn’t especially comfortable for families with children.

Really lovely place to stay, quiet and remote, which is what we were looking for, yet near some great local places to eat. The pool and the view are as good as it looks!
