The location is just perfect, in front of Isola Bella. Walking up every morning and seeing the most incredible view, was the highlight of our stay. Also, having our sun beds reserved for the entire stay it was a great plus.
The breakfast was one of the best we had & the pastry product were simply delicious. Also the breakfast restaurant has the perfect view. The place it’s super clean! The maids are coming 2-3 times a day to your room. I loved this! We really enjoyed our stay and we are thankful to Marco, the resort manager who offered us an upgrade free of charge because we heard the train really loud on our initial room. He was extremely friendly and professional. The only two minuses are the train passing by & the fact that the bungalows are really small. Otherwise, we enjoyed everything!

Enchanting location, perfect organization, professionalism, kindness, courtesy. Each dish, an exhibition of tastes, perfect combinations, of typical Sicilian and Mediterranean cuisine. Attention to detail in every course. In short, a perfect cocktail for a magical, refined, enchanted evening. Thank you again to everyone for the magnificent evening you gave us. A twenty-fifth fairytale anniversary, to remember. See you on our fiftieth anniversary.

We planned our wonderful 1, 000-night matrimory. It was something unique. I thank all the staff and mainly Cecilia who followed us and pampered us to the end. Rngrazio the chef who made michelin-starred dishes, Andrea Marvel, an angel and the pastry chef who made a spectacular cake. Thank you all, you are a perfect team. We will never forget that.

Among the best of places that I did visit mid September 2019. Super duper services, lasted short but was Worth. Superb services, loved it!

We booked a garden view “superior” room and instead got a completely blocked view with a cramped room without enough space to even open a suitcase.

We got married here on Saturday and stayed in one of the beach bungalows for 5 nights. The staff at the hotel are amazing, couldn’t do enough for me and my guests. Cecilia done the best job organised and coordinating our day. She was there to answer all my emails, make recommendations and ensured our day was everything we could have hoped for. Our room had its own hot tub that was cleaned everyday and our room was kept spotless. I would 100% recommend La Plage Resort.

We had a very nice experience at La Plage resort, friendly staff, great service and very good breakfast. It was like we were in Heaven We will definately visit again.

Good beach location, not a real 5 star, no extras or love. Overpriced beach bar / service, overpriced booties wines and restaurant. The beach is the only asset here Rooms are too small.

A great place to use the beach club and be on the doorsteps of Isolabella. The food is great and there is a great selection of drinks at the bar. The service is great, but if you aren't staying there be sure to get there early when they open to get a bed because the beach club can book up in under an hour on busy days.

We booked our wedding venue here as it was one of the only venue that permitted music past 12 am and a ceremony option! The prices were decent and the service was great. The location couldn't be any better for our guests. There is free parking for all our guests.

Clean water, from the cons — sometimes come across sharp pitfalls. Overall, not bad.

Isola-Bylla is a small island on the east coast of Sicily, near Taormina. Also known as La perla del Mediterraneo. It is located in a small bay, on the Ionian Sea. The island is part of the commune of Taormina in the province of Messina region of Sicily. Until 1990 it was private property. Then Sicily bought it and arranged a nature reserve there. It is managed by the Italian branch of the World Wildlife Fund. There is a narrow path that connects the island with the mainland beach. The island has a small rocky beach, which is a popular sunbathing spot.

Nice, slick, seafront bar. Very good range of cocktails that extend beyond the obvious drinks many neighbouring bars offer. The highlight for me was the music playlist. Very chilled, ambient acoustic mood. Staff are professional too. Good place to escape the crowded beach whilst appreciating the view.

Should you fancy French fries on plastic plates, no service and no receipts in return of a lot of money, go here, you will have a blast! Otherwise, avoid it, not worth the effort.

Bad experience, from the room, inhospitable and dirty, to breakfast!
A shame, just long-lasting milk not to mention the poor quality of the food!

Good breakfast Service and cleanliness great rooms. Mosquito infested Bungalow. Poor fusion restaurant. Stone beach accessible only with sandals. Wheelchair access and very difficult strollers.

Dear LaPlageResort, when you snob your clients because of not wearing rolex and hermes on the beach, or having a small baby issues, they go to the concurrent. Like we did preferring to pay 100EUR instead of 30 and enjoying the REAL 5star service — including the extra towel for the baby and the possibility to change her in the hotel room. Btw, your staff in the beach bar tries to cheat guests by adding "coperto" to the bill.

I had the opportunity to dine at this resort on the first wedding anniversary with my wife. We were greeted by the Maître Luciano, who advised us what to eat according to our needs. The chef is an award-winning Michelin star, able to pair very delicate flavors that, even mixed, can distinguish themselves from each other. The location is very impressive, it is definitely not every day to dine in front of the beautiful island. If you look for the best among the best I highly recommend this locale. Thank you again all the staff who organized everything minutely and allowed us to spend an evening ad hoc.

Not a bad place. On the beach to walk fashionable only in special slippers.

Good location, very helpfull and staff. I'm really very surprised to see (only) Omlet on charge in open buffet breakfast.

This is an absolutely lovely resort on the sea. We had a small hut which was fine. The a/c and internet worked great. Service at the restaurant and bar was exceptional. My only complaint was that the bed was way to hard for me and each morning woke very sore and stiff. I do however realize that is a personal thing and someone else may like that.

Ideal Location for our wedding.

In December people empty and romantic.

We chose to celebrate our civil union in this magnificent place, we made the right choice because it went all as in a fairytale. Everything perfect in every detail from the ceremony to the cut cake… no need to add more we want to congratulate the Director Massimiliano Longhitano, Cecilia, the whole organization and all the staff. Excellent location located a few meters from the sea and composed of bungalows finely furnished. Beautiful scenery. Level kitchen. Excellent cleanliness. Welcome to the Staff
It has a kiosk on the beach open until pre/dinner for snacks and highly drinks. Personally I have also experienced the return of a personal effect occurred in two days by courier.
Optimal stay
Only flaws the railroad a few meters from the garden view bungalows where we stayed but it does not disturb the night rest.

We stayed at the lido for the day. Very expensive but it is a resort. Excellent bathroom facilities. The food was good as well. The lounges and tables could have been better and the bar looked a bit bare. Great location for swimming and right next to Isola Bella.

Our stay at La Plage was wonderful and we could not fault the staff and their service. They could not do enough for you and made you feel welcome and relaxed. The breakfast was great. The bungalows near the staff maintenance area were a little noisy, with staff making a bit of noise during the night.

Excellent hotel with beautiful location and beach! The staff was very polite and nice. The restaurant of the hotel is also great! We will definitely come back!

La Plage resort is an excellent resort at Taomina Sicily is excellent. The room we had was a bungalow very upmarket. All services were excellent including all restaurants.

The best service I encountered in Sicily But the rooms are incredibly small for the price. The view is nice though.

Really nice place, friendly staff, beach was a shame due to the rocks (no sand) and no tea/coffee making facilities in room (brought my own travel kettle etc) but mini bar (prices high though) Food was very good at the hotel and staff could not please you enough with their efforts — much appreciated Had a late flight and had to check out at 12, then sit on the beach all day, used cold shower in Spa and changed though. Steps was difficult (after a few days) but overall lovely place, very pretty and enjoyed our 7 day stay.

Good location, parking is hard to find though. The beach is pebbly but water is very clear, perfect for snorkeling.

A truly amazing place — our wedding reception was more than we could have imagined and La Plage really exceeded our expectations. Wonderful location, wonderful staff, wonderful food — highly recommend!

Beautiful location in a clean sea and excellent service. It was a very nice and friendly staff.
The beach umbrellas are however too shoulderinga to each other and the internal car park has no reserved seats for those who have booked a weekly deluxe stay.

Great property and location but bungalow rooms are very tight space in my view. The mosquito situation in rooms at night must be better dealt with. All our group had sleeping issues because of mosquitos in room overnight and the sleep deprivation it caused. Wonderful breakfast buffet and spectacular Sicilian feast dinner on Beach.

Really enjoyable stay. The rooms are lovely and a unique setting. The beach club, bar and restaurant were convenient and in the best location. The staff were helpful and friendly. We will back and highly recommended.

Located on the most beautiful beach in Sicily that I know, that of isola bella gave us a lovely place to sit relax and enjoy a splendid view.
After a sunny day with two girls aged four years and four months arrived in a paradise of white umbrellas rattan and wooden raised floor lounges.
Guests of all Nations United by being offered the eyes to the heart and palate heady perfumes of luxuriant vegetation surrounded by the breeze and the waves of the sea.
Of course there's the brunt account payable but the right combination for a total gratification …
Go back and get back also forced a bit thanks to the kindness of operators who have enabled us to cut to the resort from the beach bars standing with two girls and bags and strollers in tow.
We had spectacular granite with strawberries and pistachio ice cream … more ' than granite but divine … Hull in venal … Lowest price in the price list after coffee. 4 euros … for a club sandwich were popular 23 euros …
Truly unique place … go!

Wonderful place in front of isola bella. I have been to La Plage Resort for a wedding reception. Wonderful night. Very tasty meal. Drink and dinner on the terrace isola bella and dessert buffet and cake on the terrace. Plus point of the Resort is parking available for guests not to underestimate in Taormina!

Less fancy than it looks. Had a summer mojito cocktail which tasted like mint liquor. Next time we would try a basic drink like gin and tonic.

It is a beautiful resort and the isola bella. In short I will participate at a wedding that will have as a location the terraces of the resort. The staff are welcoming and helpful.
