B&B Villa Antonio Bed and Breakfast

This B&B is absolutely fantastic and ouzes of charme! We spent two unforgettable nights there. It's not your traditional large hotel but a small place with about 3-5 rooms that are all taken care of by the most charming hostess there can be. The view from the rooms (see picture) is worth the extra money. Parking is very easy and it's an ideal base to explore the Etna and the surroundings of Taormina!

Billed as fine dining by our friends at Trip Advisor… the food was excellent, we couldn’t fault it at all. Sadly we came away with an underwhelming experience.
We arrived 30 minutes early, thinking it was an opportunity to have a cocktail at the bar and take in the fabulous views on the terrace. We asked for a Mohito but were told that this wasn’t possible as they dudn’t have the ingredients. On arriving there was no meet and greet, staff were occupied with clearing up from afternoon events and we were lost in the crowd as they seem to have a group of tourists there for “the Godfather” experience! This continued throughout the evening with “cast members” walking around with “guns” even “The Don” made an appearance.
Are they a serious restaurant or something else? We were shown to our table and menus handed out, it would have been a nice touch to have the menu explained, on asking the waiter for recommendations, his reply was “everything”. Food was ordered and we felt it was all a little rushed, at one stage we thought we’d be finished in just over an hour. The staff in general were caring and engaging, but their time appeared to be taken up with the large party of guests. We sat inside as it was quite cold and windy outside. Watching fellow guests try and find the WC was entertaining to say the least, no signs visible anywhere.
We both had 3 courses, two G&T’s plus a recommended bottle of local Red (€40), which I must say was very nice. Total bill €190.

Excellent service with very good food. Outdoor seating has excellent view. Service is friendly and attentive.

Wonderful place to stay. Amazing ocean views, large, clean room and friendly owner. A short walk to the beautiful Isola Bella beach, with the bus stop to Taormina only a 2 min walk away.

A really lovely B&B with the most stunning view from the balcony! Within walking distance from isollabella beach. The only thing is the breakfasts got really monotonous after 3 days.

We had our wedding reception here and it was amazing! The staff were brilliant and the food and wine were delicious.

Everything at Villa Antonio has exceeded our expectations! We had a wonderful full view on the bay, we had peace, we had a great service from lady Grazia, who is really able to make the guests feel at home! The room was spacious and got all the refreshing breeze from the window with amazing view. We had breakfast with this stunning view on the terrace of the Villa and started the day in the best way. At night we had all the tranquility and comfortable bed to rest from the day. We'll definitively go back!
