Been there in 2009 and loved it. Near the beach, helpful staff, nice clean rooms, pretty cheap. Lots of places to visit from here. And last but not least you can try "la cucina siciliana"!
Basic hotel, but very friendly staff, clean and perfect location. I can recommand it.

Fell in love with this hotel by the photos on their website. Waited, when there will be empty seats. And did not regret it! A small, cozy. The room, maybe someone will seem small, but I was enough: single room, wonderful light green furnishings, comfortable bed (which is rare during travel), TV with Russian channel, air conditioning, a large balcony, from which you can admire mount Etna. Every morning, come down for Breakfast, inhale the aromas of fresh coffee and croissants. Breakfast is sufficient: coffee will immediately prepare your order, all sorts of cereals, milk, jams. Various pastries, sausage, cheese, yogurt, fruit. Do not stay hungry! Cleaned the room just fine! The towels were changed every day. Shower cabin is small, but fit can. Plus some cabins weighs "panic string" (if suddenly something happens to you in the shower, pull and will come to you for help). In General, the concern for visitors is manifested in everything. The staff is very polite, responsive and helpful. In the lobby there is a small library of books in all languages, from the Russian — romance and "Anna Karenina. " The sea is very close, literally the way to go. The most pleasant experience.
