Should have taken more notice of the reviews. We were a family staying in three rooms. Rooms with awful smell and mould on walls. Toilet flush broken in two of the rooms. Noisy air con and room fridge. No mosquito nets at all so can't keep windows open. Very poor overall cleanliness (with exception of the pool bathrooms). Nice gardens and pool area but pool not particularly clean and dog poo on the grass. Hosts pleasant but fail to see the shortfalls of the property. Has so much potential if more attention was given to overall cleanliness. 15 min drive to Sicacca but be careful of Google map directions as one of the access roads is very poorly maintained with massive pot holes. Go in from Sciacca direction and not from the north (even better … don't go in at all and book elsewhere).
We stayed for three nights whilst touring the area. The Grounds and accommodation were generally good especially the pool. Food was very basic both breakfast and evening meal, we were the only people dining on the second night and it seemed to be a case of what do we have left in the fridge. Also the croissants and bread was not very fresh at breakfast.

First time in Sicily! We were ready to love everything until we came at this hotel for 2 nights. When we arrive at 17.00 the swimming pool was full but the hotel (the doors) closed. We learn after, that a lot of people go there for swimming and lunch only. Nobody at the reception everything closed. We call and the owner rudly told us to wait there and he will come. His wife a bit later open the door and tolds us something about overbooked and will be transfered elswere (everything in fluent italian… no english of course) So we wait and wait. More than un hour until he came mad, furius! and told us to follow with our car! firtsly he ask the rest of thr reservations's payment in cash! and he led us to a vacance house mediocre to bad. We had paied for breakfast and swimming pool. He told us that there was at the vacance house a little kitchen and we can prepare our own breakfast there… Not even a sorry. Bad maners, bad professional. Not even think abour going there. He will destroy your vacations… As he did ours… The reservation we make was 2 months priore. The hotel was empty not overbooked (curius! ) and in good contition the exterior but realy bad inside, reception etc… We travel as family many years, never ever we had such a bad experience. Never…
