We stayed at Kuro B&B for four nights and we couldn’t fault it. Luigi provides a breakfast comprising croissants, various delicious bakery products especially the pistachio cream pastries. Also coffee and fruit juice.
The property is located in the historic Mercato Del Capo which gives an authentic Sicilian backdrop to the property with fruit, vegetables, fish, street food etc on sale there. Although Kuro is set in a busy market it is very quiet during the night and we were never disturbed by noise. Luigi also provided a map and pointed out places of interest for the budding explorer. Luigi’s place is very clean and the bed is comfortable. We had a double bed and there was a third bed also if required. I would highly recommend Kuro B&B if you want to be an independent traveller who likes a quirky setting. We reached the property by private taxi hire from Palermo Falcone Borsellino Airport however the market is not accessible to vehicles so you can be dropped at Carini Gate which is right by the entrance to the market then it is a two minute walk to Kuro. Luigi was waiting outside the property to welcome us.
