This place is absolutely incredible, and the hosts are beyond wonderful. My family made a very last minute booking (literally the day before) when our plans changed and we were just hoping for something serviceable. It was a bit farther from Ragusa than we expected, and driving through the farms with the smell of cow manure wafting through the windows left us a little concerned. And then we pulled into the gate and were immediately blown away. This is a stunningly renovated villa, with all the original charm and character of the stone walls and layout, but with beautifully done, totally modern rooms and amenities. The beds were a godsend, 1000% better than the horrible ones we'd been sleeping on in AirBnbs around Sicily for the week prior, and everything was impeccably clean. The hosts came out to greet us, and showed us around the whole place, gorgeous pool and view all the way to the sea included. The owners only spoke a little English but were still so welcoming, and their daughter happened to be there at the time and she helped out a lot with translating! They sent us to a restaurant for dinner about 10 minutes away that was also in a converted villa and nearly deserted, and the food was fantastic. In the morning there was a lovely breakfast spread with delicious pastries, yogurt, fresh orange juice and espresso, and a phenomenal homemade ricotta coffee cafe.

Relais Cimillà is the perfect place to visit the Val di Noto thanks to the perfect location in which it is located. The farm is delicious, cared for in every detail by wise hands (and you can see). Undisputed queen for healthy relaxation is the pool: built saving a magnificent myrtle that I would have liked to take home with me. Unless you care for a noble garden with infinite patience and Cettina pampers you with her homemade desserts. Watch out, indeed, for breakfast: typical and quality products in abundance: the scale could suffer. But on vacation you know, everything is allowed.
