Domìa Boutique Hotel e Cucina

We spent four nights at Domia Boutique Hotel and it was perfect from start to finish. The hotel is modern and elegant with its own swimming pool. The rooms are stylish and have their own terrace/balcony, and many have a hot-tub. The breakfast is outstanding and we also enjoyed dinner one night. The staff were all charming and it was such a great start to our holiday in Sicily. The hotel is very convenient for Mondello beach where there is windsurfing and other watersports.

Rarely do you encounter a perfect hotel. This is one of them. Beautiful, relaxing rooms are perfectly decorated, with comfortable beds,
And are super clean. Spending the day relaxing by the pool was magical. The food in the restaurant was outstanding. Amazing gelato. My only regret is that we didn't spend more time at Domìa.

Having worked in the travel industry for almost 40 years I have been fortunate to stay in some of the best hotels in the world. Hotel Domia is right up there. It is a unique boutique hotel where food is sourced locally, prepared and presented to the highest of standards. The hotel rooms, public area and pool are immaculately clean and maintained. What is probably the best asset to this hotel are the staff, literally everyone who works here is a credit to the establishment. Friendly, professional and so helpful with recommendations, service and welcome. Valentina on reception goes above and beyond to ensure all guests have a wonderful stay.
We used this hotel as a pre cruise break for 4 nights before joining a ship in Palermo for a Med cruise. Mondello and hotel Domia are a perfect choice for such a requirement if you prefer to be outside of the busy area of Palermo city. Mondello is an upmarket villa beach resort with a beautiful beach and promade. Ideal for people watching and evening strolls.
10/10 on every aspect, simply perfect.

Great location, just two blocks from Mondello Beach. We booked a deluxe room with a private terrace and jacuzzi, which was lovely and made for a relaxing stay. The room itself was slightly on the smaller side and could use a few chairs or places to sit. The staff, from reception to the breakfast team, were friendly and always eager to help. While there’s no dedicated parking lot, free parking is available on the surrounding residential streets.

A great little hotel. Just as good as they get. Great staff. Nice position for beach and town. Good public transport to Palermo. Very comfortable rooms, nice quiet and secluded pool area. An excellent restaurant, modern Sicilian menu. Very good wine list and a great sommelier with extensive knowledge of Sicilian wine. Trust her choices. Also a spot on Negroni. I suggest you book early if you are going to Sicily.

I have stayed in 5 star hotels worldwide, but I can say without doubt this hotel is one of the best. It is small, intimate, and an oasis for tranquility. The hotel is superb, beautiful room, you could not ask for more. But in addition the staff are fantastic, everybody, from Angela (the owner), to everybody who works there make you feel part of a family. If anybody is looking for a stay away from the pressures of life, then this is the place to stay. When I leave my heart will stay. I will return.

Domia Boutique Hotel is simply exceptional, one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. The staff couldn’t have been kinder or more attentive; we felt genuinely cared for throughout our stay. The food was absolutely outstanding, both at dinner and breakfast. We dined at the hotel all three nights, trying both the meat and fish tasting menus with wine pairings, as well as the à la carte options — every single dish was exquisite. Our room was spacious, spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We especially loved the private hot tub on the patio and the thoughtfully curated minibar selection. The property itself is stunning — lush and green, with a lovely heated pool, and only a 10-minute walk from the beach. We can’t recommend this fantastic hotel highly enough.

This place is all about the food. The food is amazing. We had the seafood tasting menu the first night. The best food we have had on our 2 week trip. The flavors were outstanding. The wines were perfectly paired to accentuate the food. It was so delicious that we decided to go back the next night. The food was equally as good. The breakfast was delicious. The pastries were delicious and the poached egg in zucchini crème was so good. The chef knows how to cook. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

My wife and I just finished our honeymoon at the beautiful Domía, and we’re still speechless. Everything—from the elegant room to the stunning pool, the incredible restaurant, and the beach just steps away—was absolutely 5 stars.
All of the staff are so lovely, they make you feel apart of their Domía family as soon as you arrive.
One highlight you can’t miss is the cooking class with the amazing Floriana. She was so warm and patient, and learning to make fresh pasta and ravioli with her was a true highlight of our trip. We can’t wait to bring a piece of Domía home by cooking for our friends and family!

We stayed at the Domia Boutique Hotel for 3 nights in May 2025. The service was outstanding. The staff was welcoming, friendly, attentive and everyone spoke excellent English. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was 10 minutes from the beach, however, it was quiet and peaceful at the hotel. A taxi is needed to go to Palermo, however the hotel staff will gladly coordinate it for you.

We were not staying at the hotel, but our B&B recommended Domia and made the reservation for us. And what a find. It was the final night of our holiday and this meal meant it ended on a high. The quality and presentation of all the food was amazing, and the service was superb. They were quite busy as there was a large party in, but the amazing waitresses Sally and Costanza handled it all, and made us feel very welcome. We were concerned that it was going to be an expensive meal, but it was very reasonable and simply delicious. I would highly recommend a visit.

Ok, seeing a 4.9 rating on this property made us very skeptical, but WOW did this place exceed our very high expectations!
From the moment we walked through the door, we entered a kind, welcoming, guest-centric world. Valentina immediately made us feel welcomed and made us feel at ease. While a smaller boutique hotel, every detail felt intentional and warm. Our room was spacious and stocked with everything we could need. We had a room with a terrace and hot tub — WOW was that worth it! Very private and so fun to use throughout our 3 day trip.
The food on site was absolutely amazing. With a dedicated and fantastic chef, we came to dinner at the restaurant twice in a row. Sally & Costanza (we probably are mis-spelling, sorry! ) were our servers both nights, and we fell in love with them. The hospitality was 10/10 and the food was delightful. I recommend the tasting / gestation experience! Breakfast was also a wonderful experience each morning with a spread of pastries, meats, and a menu for the main entree. We could not believe how good this was. We never usually get up in time for breakfast when on vacation, but we made sure not to miss! They even opened breakfast EARLY for us the day we were leaving (we had an early flight) and made sure we could take food to go.
Location and amenities also exceeded expectations. The pool was calm and peaceful with service when we needed snacks or drinks.

Quite simply the best hotel I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. Amazing food, comfortable bed, beautiful garden and pool, a quiet oasis. But most of all the staff are the best! So attentive, friendly and professional. I've never felt so looked after. Whether for a meal or to stay just go! You will not be disappointed.

Our week at the Domia hotel might be the best stay we’ve had together in over 13 years. It’s a truly special place. You won’t find better food, beds or staff in Sicily.
The location is unassuming – on a quiet road, tucked away in Mondello, you wouldn’t think that this oasis of serenity was hiding behind the walls surrounding the property …but once the gate opens and you stroll in, it’s quickly apparent that you’re in for a unique, luxurious treat.
The breakfasts, the sea water pool, the patio hot tub, the cocktails and (especially) every single item of food prepared in Head Chef Floriana Fontana’s kitchen was joyful and exquisite. We balanced eating in with heading out, and all the recommendations the staff gave us (and bookings they managed) were super – these were often inexpensive and authentically delicious, no-frills restaurants and days out by our choice.
We weren’t driving during our stay, and it was so easy. It’s less than a 5-minute walk to Mondello beach through a private locked gate that guests can access (we stayed in early May and it was certainly hot enough to swim in the sea – the seafront was quiet during weekdays, and pretty busy and noisy during the weekends – which is when Domia becomes an even more treasured haven away from the fun chaos of the beach, from our perspective). You’re also close to bus stops, so you can be in the heart of Palermo within about 30 minutes from the hotel.

We had the pleasure of staying at Domia for 2 weeks in September. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome and at home. We truly felt part of the Domia family.
The hotel is beautiful and so well designed, the rooms are really comfortable and have fantastic air conditioning.
The breakfasts are really good with beautiful pastries and other options to order. Their poached eggs are delicious and the homemade granola was so good.
The lunches were also amazing, it’s hard to say which was our favourite as all were brilliant. We would definitely recommend the panelle.
We also ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was delicious, there is such attention to detail in every meal that is presented. All the ingredients are local, fresh and delicious. I am only regretful that I had the red prawn tartare once!
The wine list is also great, again only Sicilian wines. Glenda was fantastic at selecting the perfect wine for each meal. It’s clear to see she is so passionate about her position. We also had the wine tasting with Glenda which we both really enjoyed, she had specifically designed it around wines for each season and it was brilliant.
We had the dining experience on one of our evenings there and it was out of this world, Florianna is a truly exception chef. She also hosted us for a cookery lesson which was a great way to learn more about the Sicilian cuisine.
All the staff at Domia are first class and went over and above to make our holiday so special.

We have just returned from the most wonderful stay at Domia.
If I could rate the staff and service 10 stars on here I would. After a stressful flight we received the warmest welcome I think I have ever received at any hotel. We did not have to ask for absolutely anything during out stay here because everything was covered and thought about from the staff. It felt less like a hotel and more like a stay with family. The care for their guest is something else.
The food here is AMAZING! All ingredients are sourced locally, everything is so fresh. You can really see and feel the care and heart that has gone on in to every single meal.
Located just a stones throw away from Mondello beach, you are handed a key for easy access to the beach from the foot path. And taxi in to Palermo is around 20mins so the perfect stay for the best of both.
I would highly recommend this hotel!

We took over most of this fabulous hotel for a family reunion. The proprietors were incredibly accommodating for all ages! including making special pancakes for breakfast for the young ones with allergies, and buying enough swordfish in the market for a full sit down dinner for the adults. The hotel and service were truly exceptional!
