I booked the room in advance via booking. Com and got there. Before the answer from Baruni comes, that I didn't want to come anyway: yes, I was thinking about cancelling the trip and the room due to weather but then decided to come anyway (flying to Sicilia from Austria)! (Which I am happy, because of this cool city! )
When I got to the room I found out, that it smelled after smoke and parfum, so I decided to move to another place. Well, I asked for a 50% cashback solution but it was denied.
Room is OK and I would have stayed, but smoke => I don't like.
Would highly recommend this accommodation. We stayed here as a family of four for the evening before getting the ferry. We we were very impressed with all aspects, size of the room was perfect, everything was immaculately clean, and the buffet breakfast was fantastic!
Sergio was very good communicating information before and during our stay.
It's the perfect location for the ferry too!

I must commend the owner, Sergio for this place. The attention to details is amazing. You just know that there is nothing he did not think of. The room is comfortable, with plush beddings and towels. The air conditioning can be cold or warm. I wish I could have stayed longer.
The location is superb, so close to both the central station and the port. And don't let the building fool you — inside is great.
Also, I got a bigger room than expected — which is a bonus!
Communication with Sergio is fast and easy too. He gave instructions on how to get there beforehand and if any questions arise, he responds immediately.
Surely, if I come back, I will be staying here.
