I stayed here twice, friendliness, cleanliness and impeccable rooms like the owner who always proved willing to accommodate my requests. I don't rule out a return.

What do I recommend? to season an adjective higher than the EXCELLENT! My husband and I stayed in the best b&b we had in early June but met! Everything perfect! Even if we wanted we could not find an adjective other than GREAT to define it! From cleanliness to the rooms from breakfast to the thoughtful availability of Carmelo… from attention to high quality products … No need to continue … we will definitely come back and hope for more than a week!

As soon as you arrive in Messina by ferry, finding such a kind person to welcome you is a very pleasant feeling.
Modern, state-of-the-art furniture, clean and quiet. Mr. Carmelo made us feel at home right away and when we woke up, he meticulously prepared the tables for breakfast. In practice we would like to stay more just to enjoy these small and highly appreciated attentions with which it is spoiling us. Absolutely satisfied. Thanks for everything!

Highly recommend! Carmelo is a gracious & wonderful host. His attention to detail is second to none in all aspects of his B&B. My favourite host stay in the many places I have visited in Italy. Located in the old quarter of Messina, Caio Dulio is a short walk to the train & bus station, shops, a laundry and the local bars & restaurants in the surrounding area. We drove from Porto Santo Stefano & caught the Caronte Tourist car ferry from Villa San Giovanni. A smooth efficient short crossing & easy to find. On street parking or parking facility close by. The room was very clean, excellent shower, comfortable bed & pillows with quality linen. The interior is new & Carmelo provides a wonderful breakfast with unlimited coffee & tea making facilities in the open access kitchen on the same floor just off the rooms. We could not fault this property. Wifi was excellent & Carmelo gave us his invaluable local knowledge of historic landmarks to visit within easy walking distance & made himself available for any information we required. Rather than drive, we walked to the train station & caught the local bus to Taormina for the day. While Messina is definitely a bustling port city we found it very interesting and would definitely stay at Caio Dulio again. Thank you for your warmth & generosity of spirit Carmelo. Absolutely fabulous, clean and comfortable, easy to find from ferry or station, host Carmelo gracious and helpful, attention to detail fantastic, would not hesitate to stay here again.
