We stayed here for a night and the whole thing started with the host being rude about us not being able to communicate in Italian. He said that was listed when you booked the stay, but that is not the case. No where does it say that communication in English is impossible … furthermore the air condition controller was missing, and we sent a message asking for it with the response being that it was on the table in the room… this was not the case. We sent a new message later that evening asking for it, with the response “what do you want me to do about it? It’s not even that hot”… so no aircondition and therefor a warm room with little to no sleep. Also; the bathroom is located outside the room, not in the room as portrayed when you book the place… the bathroom also smells of sewage after you shower, and the smell stays for hours.
We also tried to leave a review with booking, and the host sent us a hostile message after this, and he has edited our review and removed everything remotely negative. If this rude and unwelcoming host does this with every review the rating is far off, unacceptable.
