Beautiful grounds, up high with views of the ocean beyond the vineyards. Visit started with a nicely organized wine tasting of five Planeta wines, one from each of the five Sicily regions they have vineyards in. In brief, I find the whites stronger than the reds. We also tasted the three olive oils produced here. This was followed by a dinner on their very nice outdoor patio. The setting was very nice, the food imaginatively acceptable, but the service was very unsettled, having been unnerved by very demanding English diners at the table next to us. In all, very glad for the experience, but probably wouldn't choose to eat here again.

Beautiful location, lovely rooms, and great food. Cooking class was full participation and lots of fun — our results were good too!

We can’t wait to return to this little spot of heaven. Photos don’t do justice to the beauty of the property. And the service is perfection. We regret we planned only a one night stay here, which is not enough time. The food and wine is outstanding and the ambiance is serene.

Excellent reception… breathtaking view… impeccable service… superlative wines… a thousand and one night food… I also spent a couple of nights in the past and I must say waking up in this paradise is highly regenerating! Very recommended!

We did a cooking class at La Foresteria. Angelo was a great host and teacher. We learned a lot about Sicilian cuisine and culture. The food we made was pretty good too!

My husband and I enjoyed the afternoon at the Planeta winery. The staff at the winery suggested that we dine at La Foresteria and they called to confirm a reservation. It evening was lovely watching the sunset over the coast from the restaurant terrace. The service and food were great. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.

Very charming and warm location. Lovely views over the vineyards, and the sea in the distance. Very helpful and warm personnel. And the restaurant was really great, especially the 'Journey' menu, a great trip along Sicilian food and wine. Eight delicious courses and great matching wines, so diverse and all from this beautiful island.

Great location to experience south western Sicily. Wonderful food great wines. A must stop when in Sicily!

Beautiful property great staff excellent service.

Beautiful 15 room hotel out in the vineyards outside of Menfi-southwestern Sicily. Our 2nd visit there in the last year-7 days then 4 days. Sea views from all but 2 of the rooms-comfortable patios on the herb gardens. Saw the chef out harvesting herbs for dinner! World class restaurant with patio dining or at a large, long communal table. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Easy day trips to Marsala, Trapani, Erice, Segesta, selinunte, Agrigento, and more. Great wineries to visit. Cannot wait to go back. PS and they have a private beach club on a spectacular beach!
