Stagnone Area Zero

We spent a week in this very nice B&B and enjoyed it very much!
Due to a delay of the ferry we arrived in the middle of the night and the hosts were very understanding and flexible.
Every morning we were served an amazing breakfast in the cute garden. There was proper drinking water tap, a fridge and free coffee available.
Emilia and her family were very welcoming. With the free bikes, the kite spot was easily accessible within 5 mins.

Emilia and the family were great hosts and we had an excellent time. The breakfast was generous and home made with regional products, the coffee really strong and delicious and the fresh drinking water ice cold. The kite spot was at a walking distance away and we took the available bikes to get pizza or drink Marsala on the docks, literally 2 minutes away. The minimarket next door is very practical and reading in the garden was very relaxing. It feels like Emilia knows everyone in the village and can help you translate when you need to rent a scooter or book kiting lessons.
We felt at home and will definitely be back soon!

This family-run B&B is an oasis of relaxation and good taste. Giacomo and Emilia — always smiling and available — made us feel at home from the get go! The structure has a garden where breakfast (abundant and never banal) is served in the morning. You can always find snacks, fruit, water and cold drinks in the shared kitchen.
The rooms are spacious and spotless, equipped with every comfort and attention to details. Bed and pillows were so comfortable!
The magic of Riserva dello Stagnone continues in the rooms thanks to the beautiful b/w photos taken by the owner.
The business pays attention to the environment: filtered water in glass bottles, no plastic, separate waste collection. It is possible to park the car inside the property.

Our stay was amazing. Emilia and her family are kind and genuine people. The place is so beautiful and clean, beds are comfortable and they serve such an incredible breakfast (Silvia's cakes are… wow! ). The location is simply perfect.

Emilia and her family are the best. At any time they made our stay incredible. The place is magical, super clean, relaxing and comfortable, the breakfast is criminal. Silvia's cake was amazing and Giacomo's fish was divine. We really felt at home. Only downside is that it was very hard to leave. I will definitely come back soon.

Beautiful location beautiful owners! what a cozy clean one directly on the pond. Silent. Spacious breakfast rooms with bread jams and local pastries. Parking available. Recommend.

The best Bed&Breakfast, very nice place with well-kept garden, the rooms very nice and minimalist decor, very clean, the breakfast is perfect for all, there is the kitchen etc, The owners are very kind, very cute, the girl who manages everything is super cute and very good. It is close to the stagnone for kite-surfing you can even go walking. I highly recommend because you are really good we say at home. ❤️

I visited the place in May 2019 and had eight fantastic days there! The two hosts Emilia and Giovanni have extended the property of Emilia's family with a cosy little Bed & Breakfast with Sicilian charm. All rooms are furnished with great attention to detail, perfectly clean and air-conditioned. Highlights are the fantastic homemade breakfast with changing local specialities and the beautiful courtyard with pergola and sun loungers. Besides there is a lounge with cooking facilities where you can chat, cook together or play cards with the other guests. Italian biscuits and excellent coffee are available all day long. In addition to the very cordial and dedicated hosts, who are happy to take time for a chat, the Stagnone Area Zero is mainly frequented by a relaxed younger audience. Among them — as everywhere around the lagoon — many kitesurfers. For those who surf themselves Area Zero is an excellent location: Most kitespots around Birgi Vecchi are within walking distance. If you are travelling by rental car, you can use the free parking spaces in the forecourt of the property. In addition, there are plenty of outdoor facilities for drying wet clothes and kites.
In summary the Area Zero is a family-run but modern B&B, which is really far above the standard of many accommodations at Lo Stagnone. I will come back in any case! Since you can easily make friends at breakfast or a glass of Sicilian wine in the courtyard, this is also a great place for those travelling alone!

We liked it very much! Even the reception was very warm and familiar! The rooms are very nicely furnished! The breakfast was very varied and delicious! Every day room service and the family was always present on the spot! 5 stars of us!
