Baglio Custera

Our four night stay was excellent! Our room was comfortable and well equipped. The bath towels and robes were plush soft, and pool towels are provided. The property is quiet and great for relaxing by the pool. We were thoroughly impressed with the high quality of the restaurant. We ate there three of four nights because it was so good. Every dish we ordered was delicious and authentic Sicilian food. Fnally, the entire staff was professional, cheerful, and friendly. Exceptional all around!

We had a very pleasant stay at this small and peaceful hotel complex. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was relaxed. The rooms were very tidy and the entire place was kept spotlessly clean. The swimming pool was well maintained and a nice place to unwind. The evening dinners were a real highlight — well-prepared, tasty, and thoughtfully put together. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

We had the pleasure of spending 2 nights at this facility two weeks ago. Heaven on earth. We were greeted by charming David who proved to be a fountain of information and patience as well. Nadia was superb in the dining room. Breakfasts were awesome and the facility is quite new and spotlessly clean! So much nicer than any of the other places we stayed over 3 weeks. So peaceful and tranquil, even the bed was comfy! Highlight of our stay for sure! Staff was very friendly and spoke fluent English, which was great for us!

We enjoyed 3 days/nights at Baglio Custera in mid September — the setting in the midst of an olive grove, was very tranquil and relaxing. We used it as a base to visit Marsala, Trapani, Mazzaro and local beaches, and really appreciated having a free parking lot on the premises. The room was very comfortable and spotless, with all amenities that you could want. Unlike other hotels, having easy access to the pool/patio area, plus an outdoor sitting area through a back door made us feel like we had a lot more space. The hotel premises are beautiful and very well kept — the pool was spotless!
Breakfast included coffee/tea cereal/milk, high quality pastries, hardboiled eggs, fruit, and meats/cheeses. Breakfast started at 8 AM; if you're an early riser, a coffee/tea maker in the room might be preferred. We also had dinner two nights there and the menu options and food quality were both amazing, as was the service! The people at the front desk were very helpful — answering questions, providing information about boat trips and places of interest. We also indulged in massages during our stay — another on-site bonus option and quite a relaxing experience! If we're lucky enough to return to Sicily, we would not hesitate to stay at Baglio Custera again! Grazie Mille!

A very welcoming team of helpful staff in this oasis of tranquility. The owners of the property are very present and contributed to making our stay a truly memorable one. The level of cleanliness was impeccable as was the food and service. I would recommend having a car as they do not serve lunch but there is a nice place close by where you could pick up some lunch and enjoy it at the Venue.

Very nice hotel, modern furniture, the personnel is very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is very good.
We stayed one night. Breakfast buffet minimal but good. The room had a sitting area outside overlooking the olive trees.

This is a modern baglio but what it may lack in terms of atmosphere, it more than makes up for in the quality of the accommodation.
Our room was well-appointed, spacious, light and airy. The bed was very comfortable.
We did not use the private sitting area on the patio behind the room as it was not very attractive, but the area in the garden around the excellent swimming pool was a nice place to relax.
Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Staying at Baglio Custera was a magical experience. It’s gorgeously designed with simplicity and elegance set against a picturesque countryside and grove of Olive trees. The staff is so warm and exceptional you feel like you are family upon arrival, especially the front desk staff and restaurant servers. Speaking of the restaurant, I don’t think I’ve eaten better or felt more taken care of during a dining experience — JUST WOW. The hotel is CLEAN, maybe one of the cleanest stays for me ever and the pool is so refreshing on a hot day. Do yourself a favor and stay here if you’re considering a trip to Sicily.

The hotel was new, clean and exceeded my expectations! The hotel staff was friendly, kind and very helpful. The food was amazing, we ate there for most dinners and their food never disappointed! Their Italian breakfasts were delicious! I would highly recommend Baglio Custera if you stay in Marsala.

Stayed here during an art workshop/retreat. What a delightful place. Really nice vibe to the hotel… airy, elegant and bright. Rooms are not extremely fancy but they're nice and big and kept really clean and up-to-date. Very lovely pool area. The owners are totally delightful and eager to help make your stay great. Be aware that if you only speak English, many on the staff do not, though Google Translate and a smile can compensate well enough.
The food is extremely good. Buffet breakfast daily, pastries are all made in-house, coffee is lovely (though I wish it were available before 8am! Or that there were a Nespresso available in the room). Dinner menu uses local ingredients and features typical Sicilian dishes, all of them terrific. The olive oil comes from their own trees on the property.
You may be happier if you're able to rent a car while you're here, it'll give you more flexibility. Hotel is very near some lovely bars where you can watch the sun set over the salt flats/Tyrrhenian Sea, and you can also get easily to Marsala, Trapani, Erice (30-40m), and Selinunte (about an hour's drive).
All in all, I had a great stay and will return. Thanks for helping to make my first visit to Sicily so memorable!

Great hotel! The infrastructure is clean, the rooms are great. The pool is very nice. The restaurant is quite good and the breakfast offers all you need. Great place if you want to reload your batteries.

Great place to stay near Marsala. The hotel is great for resting/relaxing and exploring/sightseeing since the hotel is close to many sights on Sicily's west coast. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. The staff is very welcoming and friendly.
The restaurant at the hotel serves delicious food and is definitely worth the visit.
