Where do I start? I book for vegans, convinced that I would eat the usual pasta with tomato and grilled vegetables. Nothing could be further from the truth. From delicious appetizers, to 2 first courses, to second courses and even dessert. Congratulations to the chef and the guys in the room, available and very kind. I forgot the wine, lapilli of Murgo, noteworthy. Highly recommended.

I have been a guest of their restaurant and I couldn’t get up from the table for only €26! Exceptional service, authentic local cuisine, non limited, amazing coffee, great dessert and all the food you can ever eat! And all of that surrounded by amazing nature and a vineyard! Staff friendly and professional, food is genuine and typical of the area, the wine… well, like a few others… simply sublime, and sold in the cellars on the inside of the seal itself. The price of the good.

A must if you’re in the area — amazing wine and food in a romantic but laid back setting. Service and hospitality is top notch, and the wine tour is interesting. If you can, stay for a few nights, you won’t regret it! New tasting menu at the restaurant every night, and possibility for a light (but amazing) lunch at the pool side.

Very impressive line up of wines offered here… a lot of care going into the product. Knowledgeable and very very attentive. Wonderful wine, warm and caring family run vineyard. Shipping some wine home. Hope to bring a group next year. If you want good wine, this winery will solve that for you.

I spent one night at this property, and I can say that everything went very well. The rooms, comparable more to the apartments, are very spacious, clean and equipped with every comfort, including heating. The staff are very friendly and attentive to every need. Good breakfast.

We've been in Sicily just over 2 months and this was easily the best meal we've had yet! Delicious food and wonderful atmosphere… this place is hard to beat!

If I could give 10 stars, I would! We stayed at Tenuta San Michele in Sicily in May, 2016, the home of Vini Murgo with Carol Rosenfield and Stevo Rosenfield. We bought these shirts in their gift shop along with a bottle or two of their most excellent sparkling wine, and were able to have our package store M&R order their wines for us. One view from the Tenuta was a smoking Mt. Etna, and the other view was sunrise over the Ionian Sea. They served fabulous food and we enjoyed eating there for almost every single meal. No menu, just what was being served, and it was all excellent. I had my first fried zucchini flowers there, with and without anchovies in them, something I had wanted to try since I read about them in a book. I'm an anchovie fan and loved them! Pietro, our host, gave a private tour of the underground wine making facility, and hosted the wine tasting and appetizers each evening before. We met lovely people, and this Tenuta was the highlight of our three week stay in Italy. If you head to Sicily, this is a must see and must stay! Thanks Pietro!

Verry nice place, good wine: a place to go back.

This place is perfect. At the foot of the Etna in the middle of the vineyards. The staff are very friendly and available. The room on the terrace above the pool is very spacious and comfortable. The meals and breakfast are perfect.

The owner was so nice and accommodating… the best FOOD in town, love the menu and desserts. I may not be a wine lover but I tried their … been there twice and I would love to go back and enjoy my dinner with friends before we leave Sicily.

The place itself is well maintained, the panorama of Etna that slope down to the sea is lovely.
The estate produces wines labeled Murgo and cellars can be visited; There is also a website by the same name for those who wish to learn. Why two stars? Because it is already finished all the best! Lunch, which in the program of the Association that organized the tour was described as: "we will have lunch and we will taste the wines of Etna bianco and rosso", turned out to be a miserable wine tasting portions tiny and you can count bad, because in the table where we were 11 portions were often for 10 and someone, went begging in some other table. We have been offered an indefinite proves quality and name, since the bottle has farfalleggiato by glass in glass in the hands of a waiter without being able to grab the name and maybe take this down, as from power or don't buy. Dulcis in fundo, the two wines on offer, you are shown exactly at the height of the "lunch" that accompanied it. Offered at € 6 per bottle, well we can say, worth no more than half. To give you confidence, anyway I bought three bottles of their Cabernet Sauvignon to the wretched price of 12 € per bottle that, considering the cost, I will open on Christmas.

No one is definitely struck by the originality of the dishes and the service has reached its limit of enough but the quality of the raw materials is great and the location superb. To try out. Possibility to buy excellent bulk wine.

A very nice hotel in the middle of a vineyard. You can see both the sea and the massive cone of the Etna. The food is good. The antipasti, in particular, are excellent. The wine is very good, as should be expected under the circumstances. And the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

I wasn't particularly thrilled with the lunch on the day of Saint Agatha. The quality is poor but by a scenario and a spectacular setting as those involved, I would have expected much more. The quality of the dishes perhaps can impress a tourist not accustomed to our kitchen, but for a Carpenter, I consider it just enough.
Furthermore I had already reported at the time, the same Tenuta San Michele, my impressions via email, but evidently it was not considered useful to provide feedback to a client was disappointed.
