A fantastic stay. Friendly family, great food and wine. And the view is the absolutely most astounding of both the Mediteranian at one side and Etna on the other. Most recommendable!

Nice place… Quiet… Ideal for W. K. Or other.

Nice hotel, located at a 1000m on the hillside, in a vineyard, 2km from Milo. There is a friendly staff, on arrival ask for information and look on the (hard to find) information board. The owner speaks Italian (of course), french and very little english. The (good and complete) breakfast (just ask for more coffee/milk/eggs) is served at the main building, if the weather is good it's served on the porch with views on the Etna on one side and the Mediterranean sea in the other side. The hotel rooms are located in a building a little higher up the hillside from the main building (100m walk including some steps). The swimming pool is located adjacent to this second building. The studio apartments however are located some 40 meters lower than the main building (250m walk through the vineyard) Dinner is possible in the evening, make reservations in the morning. Only one menu, always based on meat, fish on friday. They don't understand vegetarians and/or allergies. Walking to the nearby villages is possible, but you'll have to walk on the local roads, challenging steep climbs and Italian drivers… Biking possibilities just for daredevils in Spandex. More possibilities for walking and ATB higher up the mountain, prepare from home.

Excellent farm is for the location in which it is located, for structure and the hospitality and kindness of the owner and collaborators. Well maintained, clean, quiet, convenient way to reach the villages, the volcano, the sea and Taormina. The pool is a strength because the chance to relax and enjoy all the amenities. The apartment we occupied was spacious, very clean, with a kitchenette and a furnished terrace with a beautiful view. Excellent traditional cuisine, excellent quality from breakfast to dinner. Recommend it to everyone.

We got 6 new year 2012/2013 for three days the end of the year. We were wrong: in fact we suffered from the cold; the plant is insufficient and often shuts down. On new year's day has lit up with great delay. Even the hot water system has had problems and we could not take a shower on new year's day. Finally it was not complied with the agreed price over the phone and we had to pay about 60 € (10 apiece) in addition to the three-day package: Mrs. RA Pacheco assured us by phone priced at 289 €/persona (indeed 279 said, then drew saying he wrong and that he would apply a discount rate of 289 currently paying asked us € 299. The positive notes are the place (very nice) and the kitchen (acceptable).

Cafeteria Food and especially scarce in quantity es:
a circle of 0, 5 x 3 rectangle sized salami cm, n° 4 batters fried potatoes and eggplant; Square of lasagna one tablespoon of "pasta" do not know how; 1 quarter 1 quarter of meatballs and sausage node (bread) ; dessert finished (with pre-notation) tot 27 euros per person!
Sunday dinner = Money rubbati!

I was deeply disappointed both by the service but also by the quality of food during the Easter lunch. The appetizer of local products was fairly anonymous, nothing fancy. The first courses were really lacking: served lukewarm and mediocre quality. The main courses were really awkward: the lamb was tough and dry (probably cooked the day before, and served heated), while the rolls of meat had a taste and a nauseating smell, well served on a bed of vegetables, which is really hard to define. Finally the desserts: a slice of Dove (from supermarket) served with paper (! ). Speechless. Between courses and another an average wait of 45 minutes. Unnecessary grievances, indeed the owners haven't had equipped humility and decency to apologize for all of this, showing well as arrogant. Finally, I should add that the menu was varied twice unbeknownst to everyone. The menu "definitive" hung outside the room didn't fit with that served. Neither the missing spans were replaced with others. Frankly I'm eating a lot better at my house! And my pets eat chopped meat and always first choice! I can only ADVISE AGAINST recommend the place: little attention to quality, customers and attention only to money (30 euros per person). I have really knocked the wind.
