Very kind, from the reception to the waiters, to the cleaners.
All very clean and nice, great breakfast, not to mention the masseuse, mine is called Juliana, congratulations very good. Too bad it was not summer, otherwise we would have enjoyed the beautiful swimming pool.

A magnificent hotel and a truly amazing welcome.

My husband and I stayed in this wonderful hotel, and it was a wonderful surprise after our wedding, the comfortable and breathtaking suite with the beautiful sea view, we had a great time. A few meters from Aci castello and Aci Trezza we visited various places I hope one day to return and spend other wonderful days there.

The hotel is beautiful. Although a bit tired the rooms modernized without too little expense. The friendly staff, but forget about calling for any need. No one answers you.
Excellent restaurant so much atmosphere and good and fresh foods, the MaitreGiuseppe professional and the staff directed very well. Hurray we will be back.

We came as a family (20 people), on arrival, we had to leek at least 1 hour because the gentleman of the reception was incompetent and very aggressive!
Beware, the small bottles of water in the room are paid 2.50 euros! I have never seen that. For a 4-star hotel, they should be offered as in all other hotels!
In our room, the sofa bed and shower were broken, we also found cigarette butts under the bedside table (our baby was playing with it) … The air conditioning was not working properly (they didn't turn off)!
Aside from the day reception staff which was very rude if you are not Italian, the hotel is beautiful with a very nice view, very nice pool staff.
Breakfast is ok.
The restaurant is very expensive.
The location is average, the hotel is far from everything it's a shame.
Check your note at the end of your stay as they allow you to add bottles of water that you have not consumed.
To sum up, the hotel is beautiful but it's a shame that the men of the reception are unpleasant it does not make you want to go back!
Beware of restaurants around, we eat well but we must check each time the bill because they add drinks … They try to defraud us every time, it's a shame and tiring to have to watch everything!

I have quite different feelings about this hotel. Some time ago, it must have been a luxury place but today it's dated and not well taken care of which can be seen on the parking lot, just the outer appearance, the gardening, the breakfast, installations. After my stay, I got the feeling that my impression might not be shared by locals as they might be more used to this, e. G. When you realize that Catania and Sicilia often looks unfortunately a bit shabby, which is sad. But there are hotels, and not only in the shiny Taormina, who care much more about their property, so I think this rating is justified. + spacious rooms, a great and very comfortable bed + room cleaning staff + great seaside — dated appearance — overall feeling of not well being maintained — Wi-Fi is only decent — breakfast — noisy: You can hear your neighbors talk, in the evening there are parties outside at the seaside (parties are great) that can be heard inside.

Hotels rooms were very clean and spacious. The pool and views were very good and kids enjoyed the fact there was ladders into sea for swimming. However some areas of the hotel are a bit tired looking and the prices for food and drink are in my opinion way too expensive e. G for a child s ice cream at pool bar was 8Euro, crazy. This would explain why hardly anyone was eating or drinking at pool bar Breakfast was very basic, tinned fruit etc.

I've spent a lot, but it was worth it.

I had a good time.

I spent the days of the 15th and 16th full board. Great location wonderful staff friendly and helpful x don't talk about the exquisite foods and excellent wines. The room is comfortable and clean. Let's move on to the sore parking notes shrivelled compared to the immense spaces (even exaggerated) of the property, and an unfortunate observation of the waiters who during the last day's Dell dinner pointed out a price difference between a dish and another a gesture typical inn.

An very good hotel with great staff. The showers are a bit confusing and have odd temperature changes. The views are stunning and the service is excellent.

I was there for a Congress. This is a hotel in a very nice location. And although there was a hotel kitchen we ate well. I saw that there is a spa I'll be very kind but unfortunately I did not use. To try.

Rooms for nothing soundproof, the trolleys of the guests are noisy as trains: It seems to sleep next to the rails. Furniture ruined and "aged": carpet just after the reception consumed and dirty, the doors of the elevator were used for the set of the movie "Shining", breakfast room with cables "exposed" and lots of dust. Beautiful and impressive location on the cliff. Clean and cozy room. The common areas seem to be affected by the passing of the years. It would take refreshment to the premises and to the management firm to the ways of making of past times.

On the hotel no fault. On the pseudo-spa, dirty and poorly functioning structure, small and crowded changing rooms. I state that I had been given this path of couple and that I have no experience, but the one made in this center was enough for all. Someone may not share but I think the couple's massage should be a relaxing time not embarrassing. Imposing is dated structure, which in my opinion deserves some tweaking even if it is not left to itself. The only person prepared and to the height of my expectations at the reception was Mr Nello. The rooms are very large, clean and comfortable. The service man Mr. Alessandro helped me after the parking in the lower floor to find the room and he let me make an adequate arrangement by offering all his support to make me feel at home. One thing that has not been to my liking that in a Hotel of this magnitude can finish the balm and the kit sewn in the package courtesy. The dinner and the treatment in the restaurant were impeccable both for the celerity of the service and in the professionalism of the two waiters Joseph and Roberta, who were attentive to my intolerance (celiac disease) and have avoided any food with contamination, a Applause goes to the chef for exaling my palate. Mr. Graziano at the Bar was able to take care of my gluten-free cake, he kept it well and was served at the stroke of the epiphany in my room as agreed. The SPA was my biggest disappointment. I have nothing to laugh about staff, but that for me is not a SPA. Located outside the structure, small rooms that do not allow you to change, water in the swimming pool and in the dirty edges, so much to be able to see the dirt in the foam on the sides.

Was once a nice hotel but now nothing is really maintained. The rooms and the breakfast room are old and not keep in good shape. The service is friend, not all of them at the same level, but in general ok.

I purchased an overnight stay with dinner and entrance to the SPA with Groupon. Great service and dinner tasty and very plentiful. At the reception they were very nice and I was able to join the SPA despite the reservation with little notice.
The exteriors of the structure are a little vecchims the interiors are renovated, bright and very comfortable. The garden cared as well as the pool.
You should improve the internal signage as the structure is very large and the distances between the common areas and the rooms are remarkable. I systematically was wrong corridor…

Spa to restore, humid even inside the changing rooms. The exceptional masseuses, but it is a pity not to perform a renovation, is the only hotel of the whole coast that can boast a magnificent view near the sea.

Small changing rooms and inside not even an antifungal, swimming pool (beware of the steps, which nn are illuminated and risk to cut you, since they are sharp) always the pool… dirty and moldy at the edges, steam room in the dark not to show that there is crap and if you take an emotional shower, be careful not to slip (otherwise you break your neck), also you should restore the walls (They are falling apart). I wanted to relax but it was possible, because I was too busy inspecting "I'm not part of the NAS, but a jump I think they should do it". Only positive note goes to the masseuses, in fact only there I forgot everything else.

Place that only lives on appearance. Poor quality! Path not very wide and tedious compared to the great expectations proposed. In the pool is liquid content not suitable for the skin or clothing (maybe bleach) fading the color.

The 2 stars are for the views and the front desk staff everything else was horrible. If you want piece and quiet do not stay here. The walls are paper thin you can hear EVERYTHING and doors constantly slamming. I didn't sleep at all would vist the grounds again for the views or diving but would not stay here!

Nice rooms and pool services. The beach is basically the stones on a cliff with a stair to go in, but is wonderful, you can swim between tons of little fishes.

Very beautiful hotel and surroundings. Nice private beach and pool. Breakfast was fine but nothing special. Food and drinks quite expensive but were good. Allowed us to check in early which was handy.

The room we stayed in was perfect. 5* 2* because of extremly rude staff. They also tried to overcharge us at check out, when we spotted it they said its just strange and they don't know why. We were asked to wait to be seated in the restaurant. After 10 min later we get seated (half the restaurant was empty) as we were ready to order, new member of staff comes and asks us very rudely to leave as the kitchen is closed… so why were we asked to wait and then seated? Breakfast is open from 8am. Really? You forgot to mention it only lasts for 2 hours as 10am is the closing time. Again, extremly rude staff. We asked to have a taxi ready for 7:15 for the airport, guess what, they didn't have one ready. The taxi company they 'work' with is a scam. We had to take taxis into town regularly as the bus is running hourly and sometimes late. Taxi meters are never on and when you ask them to put them on they refuse to drive. The ones that have the meter on switch it off after 2min in the car. Absolute joke. Definitely not coming back.

Facilities were very good as was the location. Staff? Rude and ignorant to say the least. Dinner at the restaurant, great outlook but had the worst meal in 4 weeks of travelling through Italy. Breakfast, again staff ignorant and hardly anything left at 9am. WIfi ordinary in the room but okay by the pool. Poor effort. Would not recommend nor will I return anytime soon.

Today we celebrated my daughter's first communion and I must say that once again Green Bay enchants me for their seriousness and impeccable attention to the customer. I thank Raffaele and chef Danilo the Valenziano director for their high professionalism.
Finally I can only say that you eat really very well…

On the coast just outside Catania, great hotel with spacious and well clean rooms, restaurant with not very wide choice but tasty food. The staff was very helpful Comfortable private parking and breakfast room with nice sea view.
Some detail of carelessness such as shower door that does not remain in position or damaged decorative vase near the elevators, otherwise I would have given a 5 star rating.

Having stayed in hotels worldwide, I am disappointed in catering aspect of the hotel service. Our Rooms are clean and beautiful. The hotel situated in a beautiful site and the rooms are very comfortable. However, there seems to be permanent shortage of food and drinks at breakfast. There are very few options for vegetarians in the choices available. Breakfast times are meant to be 7am to 10am. However, the food and drinks including tea and coffee jugs are empty by 9am. People have to wait for the cutlery and crockery for ages once they run out. Food platters are cleared away when empty well before 10 am. Bread if available is hard and chewy so possibly not fresh. The Bar staff and service is very good and they go out of their way to make you feel special with care and curtesy as well as snacks. Needless to say that we did not eat our other meals at the hotel but ate outside as we get a very good service and proper Sicilian cuisine. After a long day of sight seeing, we would have preferred to eat at the hotel rather than go out again as we have our six year old grandson with us, But we prefer to go out again as we know that we will receive a better service at every place that we go to. There is an excellent Pizzeria ten minutes down the road opposite Sheraton that excels in catering for all ages and is open until late.

One of the best places I have been in the world. The staff made me feel at home and the cooking was to die for. This is the first place I had ever tasted real home made lemoncello. I will go back there one day with the woman I love ❤️

Step 3 stars instead of 5 because the last time I was there the receptionist had a smile. For as long as I've been in a hotel, it's always seemed angry, and to questions not answered with annoyed tone. Two days later I returned to catania but I chose a different hotel for this. Too bad because the terrace to have breakfast is magnificent.

Extraordinary professionalism and kindness are essential ingredients for any job, but you will also find a beautiful location overlooking the sea, rooms-luxury. As for the food there is really nothing to say, exceptional menu ranging from all kinds of culinary delicacies prepared with passion and dedication. Highly recommended for both accommodations that celebrate important events in their lives.

Hotel very nice and cared for. Clean and spacious room. Very convenient location for visiting Catania but also to go to Acireale Acitrezza Taormina. Buffe breakfast plentiful and very studied in detail with staff at the height of the environment.

There have been kindness and friendliness from the beginning to the end of your stay. The rooms are spacious and very clean, All organised and managed at best. The food sublime, spotless hotel, SPA and very welcoming.

I had a very enjoyable stay at the Grand Hotel Baia Verde — the rooms were spacious and well appointed — and the views from the hotel were incredible. Service was good and the staff were all willing to help with any inquiries. Breakfast on the terrace was an enjoyable experience.

We stayed in the room 131 and had a very pleasant stay overall but every morning were left disappointed with the breakfast buffet. Some of the things that you may want to look into are: 1. Scrambled eggs and bacon — just two options in cooked food. 2. Scrambled eggs — They were not very visually appealing as we saw more than 10 people open the lid, make a disgusted face and move away. It was very watery and some bits were burnt and red while other bits were white suggesting that not only was it not properly cooked but also the eggs were not sufficiently beatean 3. Bacon — The bacon was full of fat and was very unappealing as it was stored in a container with liquid oozing out of it, it should not be this way. 4. The water provided for the tea and coffee was not hot enough and by the time it was 9 AM, it had turned cold each day. We had to keep asking the staff to either refill the water with hot water of proper temperature for the tea/coffee. Most of the times, the staff just provided us with a kettle of hot water for our table, so the other guests were left to fend for themselves! You should consider 1. Providing kettles and tea, instant coffee, milk in the rooms. 2. Train your staff to be alert and not aimlessly wandering around. 3. Remove that hand burning health hazard of a egg boiler. I burnt my hands trying to boil some eggs and saw at least 3 others burn theirs too. Your staff should be boiling eggs for guests and keeping them ready in a container.

Check in was quick and efficient. The room was clean, well maintained, comfortable and quite. The A/C was not working at first in the room but was repaired by staff within the hour. The restaurant and poolside staff all professional, friendly and spoke English. Wi-Fi worked well every place I needed it like poolside, lobby and room! Plenty of food available within walking distance of the hotel if you want to eat out. The view of the ocean and coast is very nice from this hotel. Ahh now vacation is over but I wish I could afford to stay like 1 month this place…

The location is great and the Hotel is very clean. BUT the Breakfast is not worth the money. The staff comes with the Clearing of the tables, not after; the coffee is only after the end of the Breakfast, and this is only after you asked again. Also, the staff at Breakfast and in the Restaurant very unfriendly and not very attentive. The staff does no friendly face At the Breakfast is missing a larger variety of bread, fresh fruit salad, fresh jams … conclusion: Here is true the price/Leistungsverhätnis not!

It would be hard to find a hotel in the area with better facilities and friendly helpful staff. The hotel boasts an outdoor pool plus the usual sunbeds as well as an area dedicated to sunbathing on the black lava cliffs below the hotel. Access to the sea is reached from here with a shower to wash off the salt water. The bathing area is safe although on occasion is affected by sea swell. The Catania sub-aqua club provides dive lessons etc. Is situated on the far side of the small bar which serves snacks and is next to the pool The restaurant is well situated with views over the Ionian Sea as is the breakfast room set on the floor above the restaurant. Breakfasts are served from 7.00 a. M and consist of scrambled eggs and smoked bacon plus a wide range of Sicilian patisseries, jams, honey, cereals, yoghurts and fruit. Coffee and juices are plentiful. The main restaurant specialises in Sicilian dishes but is a little expensive and the cooking is not as high a quality as one might expect in a hotel of this standing. Your evening can be pleasantly rounded off in the American bar which also serves the same snack menu as the outdoor pool bar but the menus are not easily found! There is an indoor spa and pool the cost of which is not included in room charges. The rooms themselves have well stocked minibars and a full range of channels on the T. V. Which can be watched from the extra wide beds.

A fantastic location on the eastern coast of Sicily just north of Catania and minutes from Etna, Taormina, and Catania center! A fabulous salt water pool, large, well-manicured lawn and deck, American bar, and to top it off, two solariums built right on the rocks leading to emerald green waters of the Ionian Sea. Clean, elegant, stunning views, charming staff — it's no surprise this is a destination for many Europeans. Our local friends also raved about it!

Have been a wonderful vacation. The hotel is fantastic in all aspects. We will come back and recoendaremos.

Excellent Reception Service, comfortable and daily clean rooms, breath-taking views, relaxing pool area and delicious lunches/dinners. Expected better breakfast variety and services at the SPA, but on the whole amazing stay.

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel near Catania.
In my opinion, he has Grand as its infrastructure. Indeed, beautiful rooms, a sumptuous, a nice pool, a SPA/gym, and great access to the sea with Sun beds and ladders to go swimming.
On the other hand, not very welcoming staff, relative efficiency, expensive and tasteless snack, restaurant good but expensive! And a breakfast without interest! In the morning, a dozen people activates at the buffet, apparently overwhelmed. You ask a fresh orange juice, it takes more than 15 minutes to bring it to you.
We arrived in the morning and received access to the parking card, really very handy when you have a rental car. On the other hand, we were able to bring our suitcases ourselves, like grown-ups, in our room. Practice with an elevator down…
Our room was very nice, sober and elegant, a brand-new and beautiful bathroom, a comfortable bed. But in the morning, you can hear doors slamming and the passage in the hallway. Too bad.
Next to the hotel, there are several bars and good and affordable restaurants so we ate out every day. In the evening, Catania is 30 minutes away by car, so we took advantage also of these restaurants.
Etna is approximately 1 h 15 car, Airport 30-40 minutes.
In General, it is a very nice hotel to relax, to do some sport and enjoy the beautiful view. It is good also to combine city and rest.

The hotel is located at the coast and has a fantastic view on the ocean. There is a large outdoor terrace which also has connection to the sea. You can take a swim or just enjoy the sun. The breakfast room looks out over de sea — really fantastic! I found the outdoor hotel bar quite expensive though, and the distance to the city of Catania is far, if you don't have a car. You can take buses just across the street though.

The views offered by the hotel are spectacular. Not very clean especially representing windows and doors. Great breakfast and the staff for the general good. Neat and nice pool. It must be monitored with the taxi service since they usually charge double the usual only for staying in a 4 star hotel (above all a guy named Salvatore who goes with his white wife and a black van). Best to leave the hotel and take it out.

The hotel staff were very accomidating. Room was clean. Salvatore and Graziano at the American Bar went out of their way to please. Breakfast was great. Recommend eating dinner in town.

It was nice hotel with very beautiful view. Our family can take nice vacation in this hotel. One negative thing is it is far from city and no shuttle bus to city.
