Hotel Elimo

We had a lovely meal at the restaurant, one of our favourite meals in Sicily. The service was excellent.
We had some nice conversations with the manager, who speaks excellent English. He was an encouraging teacher as I made my best attempt to order in Italian. He explained the etymology of some of the words which was really nice.

I absolutely fell in love with the hotel, environment and demographics! I will definitely visit again :) such welcoming and generous staff! did not need to leave erice unless we wanted to visit the beach or do extra activities. Local food and wine was 10/10

We have just stayed here for 5 nights. I can’t praise it enough. Antonio and his staff are amazing. He advised us on the best way to get down to Trapani and even printed off bus timetables for us. The breakfasts were great with loads of choice. We had dinner in the courtyard which is beautiful and the food was delicious. I can highly recommend the Red Campari with red orange juice cocktails. The rooms are cleaned every day and are very comfortable. There’s a great view from the terrace. Erice is lovely place to stay and the views from the castle are breathtaking. Grab a couple of these and bottle of the local Syrah and go up to the castle for an evening picnic. We’ll definitely be going back.

I didn’t stay at the hotel, just called in for a drink/pastry twice during day-trips to Erice, and it’s a beautiful place; the decor and staff are charming and the views are stunning from the restaurant and the roof terrace. On my first visit I sat in the courtyard and got chatting with a lovely couple from Canada who told me the antipasti were terrific. Recommended for a quick drink on your way up the hill (sparking water €2) or an afternoon aperitif (Marsala wine & pastry €5) or a full meal, if you value quality and being treated well.

We stayed two nights in the hotel and had two breakfasts and one dinner here. All was just fine (you even get fresh scrambled eggs if you ask for them! ) But what makes this place outstanding is the service — and the owner, Antonio. He's knowledgeable, personable, and so helpful. Hotel Elimo is a lovely little place, an Italian home away from home. Our room was great, with a view of the roofterrace (and the mists, which n Erice are a given. ) I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. The panoramic view is another highlight (never mind the mists, they clear once in a while), as were Antonio's Negrinos.
