This was a lovely stop off on our way down to Marsala after meeting our friends in Palermo who were joining us for a holiday. We had two rooms one for each couple. Our friends had a very large family room with a second double bed. We had a smaller double room but with a lovely street balcony. Showers and toilets were open plan but we were fine with that for one night. The decor here is very cool and we were allowed to view the top floor room with a pool. If that room is available on the top floor, we would recommend getting those rooms as the views are fantastic. Coffee machines in the room with fridges and snacks.
Our friends were able to check in early and were greeted with the offer of coffee and breakfast.
It was a nice breakfast. This included cakes, croissants, yoghurt and fruit. The lady who runs the hotel is very helpful and kind in her suggestions to us. The street is narrow. We would recommend getting car hire beforehand as taxis to a from airport vary between 40 at the airport, to 32 back to the airport. There is no Uber in Sicily. Taxis are probably the most expensive thing we had in Marsala. Some good cafes nearby on the piazza.
Settegrana strikes the perfect balance between being centrally located and enjoyably peaceful. The rooms are large, beautifully renovated, and exceptionally clean. Our host Fara made us feel cared for throughout our stay. For a family of eight, it felt intimate and comfortable rather than overcrowded. Its boutique charm, helpful hospitality, and superb value make it ideal for exploring Cinisi or catching an early Palermo airport flight.
We strongly recommend having a car available during your stay for taking tours.

This place is a joke and a fraud. First, the website. It is fake. Look at the picture of the breakfast. We had some pies that were leFt over, when we arrived. For breakfast there was a small bowl of cut up pear and all else were pre packaged items like you buy at the grocery store. Want some juice with breakfast, forget it. In our room we had some boxed pear drink like kids drink, with the tiny straws attached. That was it. Our room was stark, all white with not one picture. The floors were concrete with some old and not pretty something, it was not tile. No rugs. The furniture looked like it was left overs from garage sale.
There was a dining room fixture for the overhead lights and it had a cord attached and pinned to the ceiling to get to the electricity. Yes, the place does have electricity.
We had a small group who had booked the entire place since it was close to the airport. On arrival we had to call the owner for a code to get in, they do not live on site. Then we went in to be faced by only one room on the ground floor and all the rest up 20 or so steep stairs. I think some others have addiction stairs. Forget an elevator. Since we had been on a 2 week excursion, we had heavy bags which we could not get up the stairs. There is no assistance because no one is there. So we called the owner back and he was flat out rude. He said this was a B&B, not a hotel and the stairs were our problem, not his. He then said it was our fault since we did not read the website better.
