We visited the hotel for 5 nights, mid-September.
When we arrived we were unsure whether the hotel was open, it looked completely deserted. Fortunately it turned out to be open, but apart from the receptionist there was no one there.
The hotel is located on a provincial road and there is no way to get there without a car. Various supermarkets are +/ — 10 to 15 minutes drive away. The center of the adjacent village is also about a 10-minute drive away.
The hotel has recently been renovated, but is not yet ready. There are rooms on the 3rd floor and the other floors are still under construction.
There is ample parking on site.
The room was large, spotlessly clean and fully equipped. A large bathroom and shower. Two disadvantages, a continuous enormous sewage smell in the bathroom and light in the hall via a (confused) motion detector. Here the light went on/off continuously and urinating at night resulted in blindness.
The room was cleaned thoroughly and meticulously every day.
The room had a large balcony with garden chairs and a beautiful view.
In terms of facilities, there are two swimming pools, but given the location of the hotel against the mountains, there was a lot of cloud cover during our stay. The beaches located 15 minutes away by car were cloudless.
During the day the hotel was completely deserted.
Unfortunately, the hotel also feels atmospheric and cold. It is also striking how many air fresheners / perfumes there are everywhere.

We arrived late as flight was delayed and we had an issue with our hire car. Carola came to greet us outside and help with our luggage and took care of everything. She ordered us pizza, got us drinks, chatted — nothing was too much trouble and she was so friendly. Thank you Carola.
The hotel is gorgeous. Spotlessly clean and we were disappointed to only stay one night. The beds were very comfortable, en-suite spacious and shower was great. Towels were great quality and big.
Breakfast is continental. Something for everyone. The rooftop terrace is gorgeous. Great pools and another little raised area with swing beds. The view from the rooftop is stunning.
Checkout in Sicily is 10am.
A fantastic start to our Sicilian holiday. I would definitely recommend.
