Agriturismo Feudo Muxarello Guesthouse

We had such a fabulous time! Calogero and Sandra were incredibly welcoming and we loved the family style home cooked meals each evening, with farm fresh ingredients and homemade organic wine as we shared hilarious stories and got to learn more about our hosts. We went on a little tour of the farm and go to see a multitude of animals, beautiful crops and of course the unforgettable landscape at sunset. And spent our days relaxing by the pool. Would give this ten stars if we could! Incredibly relaxing, memorable and highly recommended.

My wife and I stayed here during our honeymoon in June. The property is beautiful, and the landscape surrounding it is absolutely breathtaking. This combined with the wonderful family that runs it, the delicious food cooked daily by the owners wife, and the comfortable rooms creates an unforgettable experience. Stay here and you will not regret it!

We had an amazing 9-day stay at Feudo Muxarello as a family of four. Everything at this Agriturismo is spot-on: the breathtaking landscape, the beautifully renovated original buildings, the pool area, the excellent home-cooked food, and above all, the genuine hospitality offered by Calogero and Sandra who invite you into their family. Feudo Muxarello is in a convenient central location to visit many interesting places in Sicily, including the Valle dei Templi, the Scala dei Turchi and more. We will definitely be going back.

A very peaceful and tranquil place on Sicily. The farm house is tastefully renovated and has a wonderful view over the hills and slopes of the surrounding. This is an Agritourismo as it should be: slow food with products from the own farm. And what makes this place even more special: if you decide to have dinner at the farm, then you sit with other guests AND the whole family at one big table. This is as close you can come to Sicily.

Extremely beautiful grounds and views! Most welcoming and accommodating hostess. Delicious meals served family style with an opportunity to meet and interact with other guests. The room was fine, though the decor and bathroom appointments did not come up to the standard of the exteriors of the buildings and other public areas — — perhaps work in progress? Beautiful, pristine-looking pool.

We were very disappointed by our stay. There were a few positive elements: -location: beautifully set on a hilltop overlooking the gorgeous Sicilian countryside -pool: large and with great views -family friendly place However, we were very unhappy about the poor quality of many aspects: -our room was filthy when we arrived: the towels had orange stains on them, the shower had scum on the floor, the bedspread was dusty and covered in hair, the floor was covered in hair, the only toilet paper roll in the room was nearly empty, the soap dispensers in the bathroom were empty yet they were strangely left there anyway like trash? -the pool area was completely infested by wasps. Sure, wasps are a frequent nuisance in Sicily, but there was literally a wasp nest at the pool shower, making it unusable. Management didn’t seem to notice or care. -the main dining room / reception area was very dirty on arrival in the late afternoon. The tables were all stained and crumb filled, still not cleared up since breakfast -Wifi was unreliable at best. As an example, even the owners had to check us in on their phones using data -Worst of all was the attitude of the owners when we brought some of these issues to their attention. They agreed to clean our room, but would not acknowledge their fault or apologize. After we raised our concerns, the owners turned unfriendly and we felt very unwelcome.

Idyllic setting in the Sicilian campaign. The food is simply delicious, made with products from the region and has nothing to do with the "typical Sicilian" restaurant.
The property has a superb swimming pool and is not far from the sea.
What happiness!

Really a great place. Beautiful also the owners. A place that is not easily forgotten all genuine and a real farm.
