I was at panorama during my summer holidays. It's not a luxury hotel per se however it is a nice place. The hotel does have a medium sized pool and a small pool area with about 4/5 loungers. In terms of location this is not near the centre and there aren't many great restaurants near by however the bus stop is close by and a short ride into town. I think this hotel would probably suit a couple rather than a family.

Before I came to this hotel reading the other reviews I thought I would be in a situation on the edge of science fiction… instead it is a very normal hotel with all the comforts and services that are required to a good structure. Of course it will not be the hotel of Dreams but shooting zero on a property that offers practically everything at a more than reasonable price and that still makes up for some lack with the kindness of the staf is just a gratuitous nastiness… those who complain about the staff are only narrow people who do not know in the slightest how the world works. The restaurant is also a great alternative for those who don't have the time or desire to get away from the property for decent meals and average prices.

This place is a dump. The swimming pool closes at 7pm (very smart), we (and the rest of the hotel I think) had an issue with the air conditionning which flooded the room, and the only answer we could get when we asked for help was « wait till tomorrow, there’s nothing e can do » and they even dared to ask for payement at the same moment. … You would think that a 4 stars hotel would grant you a wonderful breakfast but it was not the case. Warm industrial juices served into small and hot glasses, coffee was disgusting and on and on… On a more positive note, the staff and crew was very sweet, especially the breakfast and room cleaning crew. The rooms are old, but very clean, and it’s not really far from anything.

My review is not about the hotel but about the restaurant. I was there at a ceremony and the lunch was perfect;all yummy and hearty, very friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant is on the eighth floor and the view over Cagliari is fantastic. In my experience are 5 stars deserved.

Service good staff friendly and spoke good english and very helpfull.

Buona struttura, camere comode e colazione ottima e abbondante. Nelle camere TV con Sky e ristorante panoramico all'ultimo piano. Si raggiunge il centro di Cagliari in circa 15 minuti. Personale gentile e disponibile. Cucina provata un paio di anni fa durante un evento aziendale. Esperienza più che positiva.

Hotel now very dated. Needs a refreed. Also considering the cost of the room per night.

Middle position between beach and center. Essential but efficient service. Better to choose a restaurant by the sea or in the city. Good breakfast. Competitive price.

Let's say it's a good hotel but that could improve if it was cared for a little better (especially the restaurant).

I start by saying that arriving yesterday in company at the reception the person who greeted us was not very sympathetic, second thing the double rooms should be such and not with two beds attached to each other… honestly I have seen hotel from two stars but very superior to this…

Good panorama on the city view.

Beautiful hotel shame about the lack of parking spaces, I went for a Convention but it really is a beautiful hotel where I can even have lunch.

Excellent in everything from the staff friendly and helpful, well organized in all departments from the reception to the room service with an excellent cuisine (Bravo chef) well-cleaned and well cared for. A five-star deserved.

Location Standard rooms. In some rooms (doubles) The beds are attached and there are no power outlets at the bedside tables. In a Spartan word.
It is to say that the value for money is convenient and that it is on one of the main streets of the city.

Central Hotel. A dip in the past as soon as you cross the threshold. The hotel has never renewed. The rooms (large) belong to another era. Renovated!

Beautiful, clean hotel. Great bar with lovely staff. Pool lovely and clean, restaurant very good as well. Rooms are spacious and bright with balconies providing a stunning view. Very close proximity to town and airport, highly recommend. I will return very soon.

Nice quiet w good view between beach & main area. On bus route. Good size room some w sea view. Good resto w view, good bfast & menu choices. Clean modern bathroom. Moderate price.

4 Star Hotel, at one time maybe it was. Hotel dated in the furniture and from the bad kitchen, nice The view from the dining room, good breakfast and service in line with everything else.
Good position x athletic field is served well x Cenreo.

Nice hotel, great breakfast, on the 8th floor by the way. Very out the way though, 30 minutes walk to the main shopping, bar and restaurant area.

It was a very nice Hotel. Non-existent air conditioning. Old smell in the hallways. Depressing! By cons Restaurant at the top.

A small problem of customers but nothing at all really cool especially the pool.

The staff was friendly and courteous and that was about the only thing I enjoyed. Very thin walls allowed way to much noise into the room, making it difficult to sleep at times. Wifi was inconsistent throughout the hotel. My bed was 2 single mattresses pushed together to look like 1 larger single mattresse. The hotel restaurant was not open so I can not comment on that. I found that the location was a little farther from downtown then I would have preferred. It was roughly a 20 minute walk from the downtown core. Overall I would not pay to come back to this hotel.

I've been to the bar to watch a game and the service is great the location snug.

Very nice hotel and Nice, splendid panoramic view on the stadium s. Elia and the Gulf of Cagliari, 10 minutes from the city center and Harbour.

The view from the 8th floor is spectacular. The rooms are doscrete and clean.

At the end of our stay in Sardinia with my girlfriend we decided to opt for a slightly more luxurious to to rest us and go back to France in great shape. It is close to the sea but we had no real views on that because we see the street and the pool. We have not benefited from the pool because it was not nice what a pity. The diner and breakfast are any.

Sardinia is the best kept secret of the Italians. The national paradise enjoyed mostly by domestic tourists. Is amazing, the best place I've visited perhaps. And one of the ingredients of that falling in love was the stay at the Hotel Panorama, excellent service, comfortable facilities and all commodities within reach of your hand (had a television with 300 channels).

Poor room service, price value — almost absent, would not recommend it to anyone.

We spent a night at the hotel and I liked. It is located in a place quiet city and relatively close to the Center. Good views from the restaurant on the eighth floor.

At our last city trip we chose panorama in Cagliari, Sardinia Hotel.
The choice was dead-on! The rooms were very clean and well maintained, the hotel was probably recently renovated.
The restaurant is a real spectacle and you understand why the hotel takes its name, the view from the eighth floor is great!
The location is very central, I. E. It is within a few minutes in the town centre and the beach. This is a real advantage, because you can do completely without your own car. A bus stop is located directly in front of the hotel. (the beach is a station)
The hotel has also its own Web page, where everything on german is explained. Also the staff spoke in german share!
Have fun in Cagliari.

I stayed at the Hotel Panorama in May 2008. The hotel is very nice, staff and then. Do try the restaurant, kitchen and great prices, unique for its scenic location.

Definitely convenient especially for someone like me who wants to follow the away match of his team, the stadium s. Elia is in fact a hundred meters, you get up with convenient make lunch in the hotel restaurant (among other things the Cook is great) and walk to watch the match.
