The hotel is certainly well located to visit the city and not very far from the beaches. However the meal is to review especially the desserts, and this lack of originality for a 4 star hotel. Have had a dessert and a basket of fruit not even ripe.

Great location, lovely roof top breakfast area and bar. Clean tidy rooms.

Loved it. Sky Bar was fab. Live piano music at breakfast was a lovely touch. Food fab. We stayed on 8th floor. Absolutely fantastic room with the amazing views. Very comfortable bed and air con was really quiet and a must. Everything including the staff and parking was perfect. Thank you for a fantastic comfortable stay in Alghero.

Strategically located hotel a 15-minute walk from the agreed beach and 5 minutes from the old town. Bus stop for the beaches/Stintino/airport under the hotel. Large, clean and quiet room. Breakfast on the ninth floor super, dinner a little less but still acceptable. The staff were very friendly and friendly. Unique reports:lack of balcony (present only in suites) and tired parking to find not for a fee (although with a bit of spin we always found it! ). Great property!

Stunning views, great location, great bar.

Something extremely romantic and wonderful… I stayed with my husband a week… Very nice staff, always attentive to the customer… Super breakfasts and sunsets not to be missed…

The hotel has some flaws in the details, but the rating in general is positive. I'd say more than a 4 star, it would be a 3… But in Italy we are wide-sleeved with the stars. Particularly positive mention for all staff; I had problems with the air conditioning in the room and ALL gave themselves to work carefully and kindly to find a solution. I have rarely dealt with such helpful, diligent and kind staff, really outstanding for service and commitment.

Generally a very good service. Hotel's own parking costs 10 € per day and is very far from the hotel about 1km. Of course, it doesn't make that much sense anymore. Large public car park is much closer but also chargeable. There is on the ninth floor a very nice bar which is also divided into two once for smokers and also for non-smokers the view from here is fantastic.

Fantastic location. Great views. Really great place to have breakfast overlooking the old town. Staff were friendly. Not very luxurious, but it’s clean and all you need if you’re going to be out and about all day.

The best of the city. Very good location. The bar on the top floor deserves a detour. Impressive view of the city of Alghero as well as the surrounding reliefs. Rediscover the hotel thanks to this site is a great moment.

Well, it's the tallest building on the waterfront of the port of Alghero. Restaurant and bar on the 9th floor with continuous glass that leaves a breathtaking view of the promontory of Capocaccia. You'd never go away from there…

Nice and cozy structure. Wonderful the Blau, top floor bar of the hotel, from which you enjoy a breathtaking view.

Central location. Beautiful view in the Skybar. Unfortunately, poor acoustics are very noisy.

I like to go to the 7th floor because view of Alghero and we can afford a Prosecco. Excellent service. Prosecco and small toast +/5 euros.

Hotel located in the center of the city, a few steps from the port and ten minutes from the beaches, the hotel is very nice, has a panoramic terrace with a breathtaking view over the Bay of Alghero, with the promontory of Capo Caccia in the background, the whole can be seen sipping Some delicious cocktails prepared by the bar staff located on the terrace… Beautiful.

110 euro for a 200 euro room. Free upgrade to a waterside room. Gold piping on the sheets. Updated bathroom amd free breakfast with a view. This isn't Holiday Inn Express.

Value for money inadequate… small rooms with noisy minibar… very small bathroom with shower with low pressure of water that before warming up c it took a century… a particular mention to the lady at the front desk for her kindness… while The sturdy gentleman at the front desk was somewhat unfriendly not interested in how we had been during the stay… just 2 words cold and disgraceful to the act of payment… fame that far exceeds what you really find. And we travel so much…!

The sky bar is great! Drinks are good and relatively affordable while the view from the terrace is astounding.

The room was very good and the staff were very helpful. Except for the breakfast waiter who was frankly disease. When he saw our puppy Schnauserz 6kilos seemed to have seen the demon himself.

Excellent breakfast choices with many gluten free options. Breakfast is served on top floor with magnificent views. Great location. Walking distance to old town, park, beach and many restaurants. Harbor and boat trips are just blocks away. Very comfortable beds and very clean hotel!  The staff were extremely friendly and could not do enough to help. Loved our stay in Alghero!

Hotel Catalunya located in front of the public gardens of Giuseppe Mannu in Alghero, offers 1 impeccable service, going up to the "Skyline Bar" on the top floor you can see half the city, a Panorama show, the night even more. I have always had a great time in the service of the staff, except the last time I saw myself almost kicked out of the bar as I had with me my 2-year-old dog, 1 small pincher, and the bartender demanded that I remain relegated to a remote corner of the T Errazzo If I wished to be served otherwise I would have to leave because the dogs were not very well seen. This episode annoyed me a little. Then for the rest the hotel remains 1 of my favorite destinations where to have an aperitif.

An Italian experience with a touch of style! +amazing view from the top floor restaurant +quality cuisine with fresh and delicious ingredients +courteous and professional staff -slightly out of time -needs renovating -lack of parking spaces.

Nice hotel near the old town and the port of Alghero. Very clean hotel with friendly staff. From the upper floors you have a great view to the nearby surroundings. Especially great are the Suns — up and downs. Shopping facilities are nearby.

Good location and as we touched a high floor, good views.

Large hotel perfectly situated a stone's throw from the marina. We booked a room for 4 and got what I'd describe as a junior suite which was spacious and airy with a separate area where the kids could sleep. Sky bar offers some of the best views imaginable of the town, we seem to get selected to breakfast there also although some seemed to take breakfast in the first floor restaurant.

10-day stay in August 2017 at the CATALUNYA Hotel in ALGHERO. Excellent hotel. The staff are very nice, caring. The rooms are spacious and clean. Great breakfast on the 9th floor of the hotel. The whole city is dominated with stunning views of the harbour. A free shuttle bus takes you to the private beach which is 10 minutes away. Everything is all together to have a great stay at this hotel.

Located in an area close to every local attraction. A few hundred meters from the city center, the port, the beaches, the ancient village that exudes history, typical restaurants, promenades. Excellent food, well appointed rooms and staff prepared.

If it wasn't for the slightly dated furniture it would be perfect. Great location that allows you to walk to Old Town port and beaches. Really recommended.

Well but no soap pack, shampoo and everything was not rénauvé eg toilet.

Been only to the top floor bar. But I suspect a place with such an amazing panorama bar cannot have a low quality hotel facility. The elegance is there, the prices for the bar were surprisingly not bad for such a location. Very romantic and the sunset and views you can have from there are simply beautiful.
