Lucky to have a Location in a really unique place. The only flaw is mismanagement. Too bad. Make a bad publicity to our Sardinia.

Just got home from a lovely holiday at ollastu. Main things that we loved were a great breakfast, pool, hotel room, traditional building with beautiful pool areas. We had the al la carte menu at the hotel on the first night which was beautiful. We also went to the hotels other two sister restaurants which were also stunning. We went to the beach in which we found the lovely beach bar, the family running that are so down to earth and care for the beach so well and the food wa…s so homely and beautifully cooked. Thanks so much.

I was with my friend in the Mai19 in the Hotel Ollastu and it was beautiful. The plant is a dream and the staff very accommodating. The food was incredibly good. A large praise goes to the waiter, Mario, was very professional, engaging and friendly towards us. It was an unforgettable holiday.

I don't know where to start to list everything beautiful we found… I definitely start from the perfection of every single thing lived in this wonderful hotel.
Upon our arrival with our little dog we were greeted by a team that made us feel pampered and satisfied in each of our requests.
Edward the manager in the first place was really magnificent and made us live our holiday perfectly in everything, then to Elizabeth, Rita, Giovanna, the girls in the breakfast room and to all the others goes our warm thanks for everything you have done for us.
The Superior room assigned to us was beautiful and comfortable and with a truly spectacular view of Tavolara.
Breakfast was one of the best ever, let's say there's pretty much everything, sweet, savoury, snacks, any drink and even gummy candy for kids. The pools and the relaxation area are definitely top notch and have given us beautiful moments of relaxation and bliss.
The location is enviable and the sea is within walking distance of five minutes…
In short, it was the most beautiful holiday ever made in Sardinia and we really look forward to coming back to you… Thank you!

Really expensive over run with mosquito and very short staffed not very good for children. The pools are very dirty hot tub very weak. Private beach very sharp sand.

Fantastic place. Great views, nice pools and jacuzzis. Relaxing gardens where enjoying nature. Breakfast really various and high quality level. Restaurant the best with attrattive service, perfect food, romantic location. Top.

Un resort con tanti spazi verdi molto curati, una vista molto romantica. Spesso durante la vacanza ci siamo intrattenuti al tramonti nel pool bar sulla piscina per un'aperitivo con vista sull'isola di Tavolara. Sia dal ristorante che dalla sala delle colazioni si può godere della stessa bella veduta. Le camere sono spaziose, la nostra aveva terrazzo con vista ed era antistante ad un bel giardino. Non sono modernissime ma curate, pulite, con alcuni tocchi in stile tipico. Colazioni ottime, orario prolungato, tantissima varietà e qualità molto alta. Una dozzina di torte fatte in case, croissant, pasticcini, anche per celiaci e intolleranti al lattosio come me. Molte anche I piatti salati. Ristorante fantastico, caro ma ottimo. Le jacuzzi nella roccia molto belle e riscaldate. Spiaggia piccola ma accogliente e con acqua molto pulita. Tanti sentieri pedonali per passeggiate lungomare. Una bella vacanza.

Incompetent reception staff
They offered me one of the best apartments where the television and the oven didn't work, the internet gave no signal and the phone in the room was not there. Moreover, despite having chosen the hotel formula the sheets were not changed for 4 days. I stayed at this property for a week and eventually refused to make me the invoice after paying an exorbitant amount. I highly recommend this hotel.

Quite disappointed with our stay at Hotel Ollastu. Deceivingly expensive for what it is. The staff were rude with very simple requests and it made us feel uncomfortable. If the prices were a little lower I could justify this but unacceptable for a highly rated hotel.

Beautiful location, really cared for place thanks to the family management that conveys a warm atmosphere. Clean and deliciously manicured rooms, I also had the chance to continue my training with a really pre-treated Personal Trainer provided by the property. Restaurant dishes that are a delicacy. I hope to be back soon to leave behind the stress of the metropolis.

This summer we booked a room at the Hotel Ollastu and we really looking forward our stay there. Once we arrived we already saw staff discussing and nearly yelling with other guests. Finally it was our turn and up to then we were still positive. The staff told us soon that the hotel had a problem with the "electricity" and that rooms were not available at all for us. This was hard to believe sind the parking space was full with other cars, we saw a lot of guests everywhere at the hotel and electricity seemed to work also. A couple of hours later we even found out that the hotel was offering free rooms an various online platforms (a bit more expensive than we booked the room weeks before). Nevertheless the staff of the hotel put us in another hotel — saying it was the same category and in a walkable distance to hotel Ollastu and that we could stay at the Hotel Ollastu all day long and the other hotel was just for sleeping. Well, they were lying to us. It was not possible to walk to Hotel Ollastu. And the other hotel definitely not what we paid for: an old apartment hotel with no Wi-Fi in the rooms, no cleaning service, no fresh towels, no hair dryer, no showergel & shampoo, moist rooms full of moskitos… and so on.

All in all, more of a 3 star hotel … That really has come in the years.
The reception is incredibly unkind, you are listlessly brought into the room, briefly referred to the breakfast room and that was it. The rooms themselves are loveless and cool, with dark spots on the wall that point to mold, nothing where you feel so really comfortable. However, we had a really good bed.
The bar is exceedingly overpriced (6 euros per beer, 4.50 a small Coke) so that you can not linger here in the evening a quiet conscience. Breakfast is fine, the staff here friendly. However, there is no scrambled eggs, only cold omelette, again the presentation seems very listless. An upgrade to half board would have cost us 30 euros per person per evening without drinks, also excessively exaggerated. For this you can eat well in the area and pay 30 for 2 people with drinks. EBikes cost 25 euros per day, also completely overdrawn, normal bicycles are free, but very dangerous because none of these bikes still had a profile. The pools are also in the years unfortunately and on the hotel's own pebble beach follows the next hammer: 35 per day for loungers and umbrellas in high season, in the middle of the season 20 euros. Also the distance to the next place to buy drinks is 2.5km, not 200 meters as it stands with some organizers, this statement is simply lied (at the nature here about 30 min walk). Doesn't sound that much, but with a six of the water uphill it looks different again.

Unfortunately, a Hotel that seems more than it is.
Booked a Superior room. A Bungalow get that after the Winter Rest not yet ventilated true. It gray so that it was harmful to health true. 2nd Night in a Junior Suit.
The Fehrnseher did not go there. But the worst true the Food. Not a Leaf green All Week. It was all cooked to Porridge and elegantly dished out. Always true the Food cold.
Unfortunately, despite the beautiful Location and also garden Design not recommended.

Some small trick to be at the top but highly recommended.

Very nice hotel in a quiet location. Friendly staff. Perhaps the only downside was the small shower cabin in the second room we had.

Stayed at the Olllastu for 4 nights, Junior suite with Jacuzzi. Absolute luxury. The staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble, always greeted with friendly smile. Super helpful. We did the half board option, breakfast was a pleasure, plenty on offer for a wide variety of tastes. We ate in the restaurant twice, with the A La Carte menu, the food was wonderful, we have eaten in Michelin restaurants in London, and the food was comparable. A meal for two including drinks, hor deuves, excellent waitering, and mouth watering food, in both presentation and taste. Yes we paid around 120 Euro's for the meal but had no issue with it being overpriced. We had four beautiful days in glorious sunshine, in a stunning hotel, what more could you ask for… Another week perhaps.

27.2017 — 11.10.2017 2. Stay at the hotel Ollastu, after 2016-bad language skills of the hotel staff (no German, insufficient English and French) — booked 6 months ago and so confirmed hotel category on arrival no longer without giving reasons Available!
-Food like 1 year ago basically very good, but very very strong fischlastig. Starter, 1st gear, 2nd gear and dessert, with 3 variants to choose from for each course. However, if three fish variants are involved, it is still difficult. Excellent quality cooking.
— service insufficient, longest meal time was 2 1/2 hours, partly with wrong food deliveries.
— 2 out of three ordered wines which appeared on the detailed wine list sold out!
— Service staff unfriendly — we had to change places three times in the 2 weeks of our stay!
-Very good cleaning of the rooms!
-Nice room-bird droppings was never cleaned in the front of the hotel entrance.
-Relatively modest morning buffet (no scrambled eggs, extremely meagre fruit offer, which was not available during days.
-Coffee for Italian conditions rather poor.

Go for the half board option. Really great way to experience local seafood dishes. Stunning views, top notch beach, very relaxing setting.

It seems to be in heaven… The location left me dumbfounded… the only thing I did not like and the service in the restaurant… will be that I am here for a wedding but the service is not the best… I hope to have happened on a little lucky day because the place It's really a paradise.

Very well maintained and cosy facility. We stayed here for a week and enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was quite fine but compared to dinner, four course menu in top quality in a very nice ambiance, maybe a little improvement. The breakfast is also very good. Absolute minus points, there are at the beverage prices.

Great clean Hotel complex. Guests are welcome to stay with them! But also suitable for children.
Restaurant very priced and unfortunately we didn't really like it, but tastes are different!
Approx. 10min walk to the private beach with coarse sand and crystal clear water! Sunbeds and parasols must be rented separately at the hotel — own beach — bistro — about 35 euros per day for one umbrella and two sunbeds.
The Bistro operator is great! He's reviving the whole beach! Food in the Bistro very good, great coffee! You can simply have the consumed in the hotel room written, so you do not need money on the beach.
From 2 pm There is also a life guard.

We have just spent 15 days in this beautiful hotel in half board. The kitchen is remarkable and changes every day, consisting of 1 entry 2 dishes plus dessert. The wines are more and rather expensive as well as the extras. The map is to fall!
The restaurant room offers a superb view of the island of Tavolara, magical!. Two swimming pools and three jacuzzis.
The hotel is secluded so quiet, but plan a car to visit North Sardinia if you do not want to stay on your Transat.
The staff are attentive and charming.
Short 15 days in love on a beautiful island.

Really nice hotel. Top notch service, excellent sommelier and waiters room was spotless, wonderful shower and beautiful garden and swimming pool. Breakfast is AMAZING!

Food was decent, a little salty to my likings.

When my husband and I decided we wanted to marry in Sardinia, we were a little bit nervous about planning everything from the United States. After seeing beautiful photos of weddings on the Hotel Ollastu Facebook and Instagram pages, we both knew we wanted to get married there. After e-mailing back and forth with the hotel Event Planner, Elena, we were no longer nervous about anything. Her prompt attention to our needs, and detailed replies (in perfect English! ) to our qu…estions (and believe me, we had lots) made us completely at ease. Elena and her team took everything into their hands on our wedding day, and we were completely stress free. They stayed through our entire ceremony from a respectful distance, making sure that everything operated perfectly. As far as the food, I am a vegetarian, and making sure my dietary preferences are met can sometimes be a hassle. We decided to dine on Tavorala Island (where we also got married) at the hotel’s island restaurant, La Corona. Elena made sure that everything was taken care of, offering me plenty of wonderful vegetarian options, and even making sure that the gelatin in our wedding cake was vegan. Our entire wedding party enjoyed every bit of food from the salads, wine list, and of course the beautiful wedding cake. The entire hotel is a family business, and from the moment you walk in, you are also treated like family. We are so grateful for Elena and the Hotel Ollastu for our wonderful wedding memories!

Ideal Hotel to relax. Excellent restaurant, delicious breakfasts with nice view on Tavolara, structure with many services and heated pools. Small and Nice beach. The staff They organize visit of the island of Tavolara with their boat and on the island the hotel has another restaurant on the beach where we celebrated the anniversary. Beautiful!

We went there to eat. The price of the food is just overpriced! The food is okay, but just a steak at 24 euros + 4 euros for the cutlery… its not possible! You can definitely find way better food forless expensive!

Superb hotel with rooms spread out in small buildings of 1 floor. Quiet, family and very kind.
The kitchen is delicious and typical. A splendid view.

Went to their restaurant because none of the other places were open without reservation. The food was mediocre and over-priced. The servings were tiny. I ordered a steak that was tiny and came with 5 fries (literally). We paid over a 100 pounds for a very mediocre meal. Would not recommend.

Great views and a great staff.

Something for nature lovers, nice Bungalow-Hotel. Car hire is an advantage. But for those who like to move, can walk along the beach (bedseitig) beautiful and tranquil spots for swimming. Also Porto San Paolo is within walking distance or by hotel Shuttle. The bicycles, however, are rather life-threatening! Great Breakfast buffet on a terrace with views of the island of La Tavolara. Hotel bar and Restaurant are in comparison expensive. In the Restaurant, it is not possible, a single glass of wine to get, only whole bottles. At the small harbour close to the hotel you eat in the Restaurant "Si Food" good and cheap.

A beautiful hotel, surrounded by nature, particular architectural style but that harmonizes well with the beautiful setting. Great view, great quality of food and services in General.

The breakfast was not worth the count, as well as a decent pool, rest in the hotel left a good impression. Of particular note is a wonderful dinner and an abundance of beautiful beaches nearby, but without a car, it would be difficult to reach them.

We've been at Hotel Ollastu for four days in September. We looked for an hotel where come back with all our family for the next 2014 holidays. And after being staied at hotel Ollastu we have made our choice: we will spend our 2014 holidays there. It is a nice hotel, settled in a nice place with a stunning view on Tavolera island. We liked particularly the restaurant where we took half board: excellent food quality and price ok. We even had the chance to make a tour of the islands in front of the bay where the hotel lays, it was great. We enjoy it a lot, especially making snorkeling. The hotel surrounded are beautiful. The sea and beaches are nice. Staff was friendly. We reccomend this hotel.

We stayed at Ollastu holiday for our anniversary in October 2012. It was a nice experience. The weather was beautiful and we were able to go to beaches and spots see beautiful sea views, wonderful! On the day of our anniversary, we had an evening meal in the hotel restaurant (they have prepared a special surprise us an artistic and deliciuos cake), and a lovelly evening we spent really good memories.
The room was romantic and colourful, we enjoyed it. We find very quiet hotel and the place very characteristic. People were calm and helpful.
At the end would we remember with joy the breakfast, varied and tasty with a loto things.

Sardinia is an island of interesting and beautiful natural environment and therefore must be visited and even lived intensely. After spending a few days at this hotel, I found that can represent both a pleasant stopover for a larger tour that a context for a longer holiday and "intense. " We were fine, the place is very nice and impressive and report a restaurant (not for everyone) great.
However an experience they'll remember.
