Great atmosphere, very friendly, brilliant hotel bar. An excellent all around stay and will certainly return in the future.

Great hotel for families. We stayed here in January 2018 with 2 kids. The hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating. Anything we asked for was no problem. The restaurant served nice variety of food, and the children enjoyed it too. When one child was sick they brought food to the room for him. There is a pool with sauna and gymnasium in the basement also. Ski locker in basement is heated and has plenty of space for equipment. Convenient location to get to Clotes list, and the bus stops outside the hotel. I would recommend this place.

Rooms, bathrooms dated but comfy. Nice bar area n spa. (swim caps req). Staff great. Food good. Can ski pretty much to door… very steep hill to town. Beware!

Great Venue, good value & service.

This is a 5* review for this fabulous warm and friendly hotel. We simply had a wonderful stay. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed half board and the food exceeded all expectations. The hotel catered for my partner who suffers with Coeliac disease and so requires gluten free food which was especially prepared by the chef. The hotel is at the top of Sauxe D'oulx and a 5 minute walk to one of the ski runs which takes you down to the chair lift. The hotel is also 5 minutes from the centre where there is a supermarket and plenty of bars and restaurants.

Friendly hotel with comfy lounge area that have settees and pool table. Bar area good too with plenty free bar snacks put out from about 3.30pm. Boot room isn’t heated but plenty racks for boots, skis, etc. Rooms and bedrooms are spotlessly clean and clean towels provided daily. Comfy beds although third bed was like a camp or child’s bed… fine though. Sauna and pool area very nice and again very clean. You’ll need the towel from your room though. Food was very good quality and fresh. Good choice and excellent service from the hard working waiters. Short cut to slope directly opposite with short walk. Main resort is down the hill which is a bit of a trek coming back up! Would recommend this hotel and gave it 4due to it not having a heated boot room.

Returned last Sunday after a week at this wonderful hotel. The staff are amazing, especially Fabiana and Eddie. They couldn’t do enough for us, they were so helpful with the kids, accommodating earlier meal times, providing milk for the baby at any time t was needed, recommending a fab crèche and just generally being happy throughout the week and welcoming us and the children. Definitely a very family friendly hotel. They work so hard to make everyone’s stay special, working long hours everyday. We hope to come back again in the next year or two! Thank you again, we miss you Xx.

Hotel Splendid is always a very nice stay which we tend to book direct. This is the second year I have been. Breakfast is good and has a wide variety of help yourself options. I have never eaten lunch or dinner here so cannot comment on that. The bar area is very cosy and the bar staff more than helpful. €5 a beer so standard price. Room are nice, ours has a lovely balcony. Bathrooms may be a slight bit dated but more than sufficient. There is a small gym, a sauna and a pool (with a bar) on the bottom floor which is nice to relax in after a days skiing. You can ski to within about 100 m flat walk of the hotel if you are of intermediate level. Otherwise it is a 200m walk up/down the hill. The best thing about the hotel is the owner Fabiana, who makes our stay great.

Thank you for this beautiful stay, a brilliant hotel, very friendly staff, very nice hotel. I recommend absolutely for the people who come here.
