Excellent food, discreet reception, room not heated adequately!

Old hotel, outdated and cold rooms. I had to sleep with an electric heater turned on.

Little Friendly Staff. Cold environment like the rooms. We took two. In one the conditioner worked, in the other No. I tried calling at 11.15pm for assistance. No answer. Let's go downstairs. Desert. The attention was perhaps directed in the restaurant room, noteworthy from the photos, but it is not part of the hotel, and that was probably full views of the machines in the inner courtyard which clearly prevent parking for those who book in the hotel. So we leave the car in the street. Breakfast in the norm, coffee and cappuccino made at the time, which would be the only positive note taken apart by the waitress would not have made a smile even if she had the day off. Too bad.
P. S. Beware of speed cameras in poorly lit streets.

Too bad there is no local Google page dedicated to the restaurant. You lose a lot of potential because the restaurant is really great.
They value and prefer the local product that is not a small thing. Homemade bread and dishes well presented with unique flavors.
Cozy and elegant environment. Staff prepared and friendly.
Good the cooked egg at 40 degrees, the velvety pumpkin and toasted almonds, the truffle noodles, the millefeuille with red fruits.
But let's say they could better manage their online identity.
Tripadvisor is often not enough.
Being found everywhere by customers and especially by potential customers is crucial. They could get more and so they lose on the street a slice of customers who have no way of evaluating this restaurant online to get so the decision to try it out offline.
This obviously does not take anything away from the quality of the restaurant.

Rooms are in old fashioned style, bathrooms need to be renovated. Breakfast is OK. During my stay there was no hot water and it seems that this was no malfunction! Good location.

The location is perfect, staff is friendly and the room was fine with air-conditioning and a big bright bathroom. The beds were a bit hard/stiff, but we slept well anyway. As a student, I was surprised that there were no hostels in Tortona, and since AirBnB is expensive here, our stay at Il Cavallino was fairly priced at around 80 euro for a twin bed room a single night.

Hotel and boutique hotels, comfort food but with a modern twist, always quality. Friendly staff and distinguished. Good wine selection. Great prices.

The Milan of Dude is out of proportion! Perfect combined with an outline. Super filling.

We were very positively surprised about the large, clean rooms and the post with much historic character. Good, large bathroom with shower. The food in the restaurant is excellent.
The car can be parked safely in the courtyard. On the way highly recommended for an overnight stay.
