Bed & Breakfast Barbera e Tulipani

Beautiful B&B, located in Piemontes countryside. Excellent breakfast. The owners are very kind and helpful. Easy driving distance to several vineyards in Piemonte district (Barolo, Serralunga, Roero, Alba etc). Highly recommended.

This was my first Homestay with Barbera e Tulipani. It was lovely! They offer a Bed and Breakfast where one stays overnight and has breakfast OR you can do a Homestay in which you have various tailored experiences. The first allows you to do your own thing when and wherever you want. They have easy parking and a swimming pool. In my case, I did the Homestay with Italian language instruction, various excursions in the area of Monferrato/Piemonte and also had every meal with the family. It made me feel just like family and we were together for most of the time. The hosts are very friendly, attentive and pleasant. They are wonderful cooks and planned interesting excursions which were fabulous for me and all in Italian. I like learning new things and could ask as many questions as I wanted. We visited churches in towns, walked through fields and forests to visit more medieval churches, toured and tasted hazelnuts at a local hazelnut farm, ate blackberries and cherries growing along the roadside, went to a local winery for a wine tasting and had an apperitivo there after getting a tour, ate lunch in several local restaurants. We also had a little tour of a famous place in a small town that makes little biscuits. My visit exceeded my expectations and I would love to return with my family. Thank you!

We spent a weekend in this beautifully renovated farmhouse in Monferrato and had the entire place to ourselves. The 2 upstairs completely separated and private bedrooms with ensuite baths are very large (rare in Europe) with high ceilings, beautiful views, and comfortable beds with quality linens and blankets. Bathrooms are spotless and fully stocked. The property only recently opened but we were super comfortable. The terrace off our bedroom with swing chair and view of the hills was fantastic. There is a large fully stocked open kitchen downstairs for guest use but the location was convenient to so many restaurant's nearby we dined out. Our hosts Daniela and Paul were super friendly and knowledgeable of the region. A really lovely weekend stay in our favorite part of Piedmont. AAA+++ highly recommended for couples looking for space, quiet and comfort. Thanks Again!
