➜ The estate is located in what was the country house of the Governor of Monferrato Giorgio Tenaglia, now used as a winery of remarkable quality. The company offers a guided tasting of its wines (which you can then buy). Personally I recommend wine tasting "emotions": starting from the aroma very intense sensations!
➜ The winery Tenuta la Tenaglia lies to the UNESCO world cultural heritage on approximately 450 metres above sea level on the hills of Monferrato on the edge of the natural park of Santuario di Crea, belongs. Giorgio Tenaglia, Governor of Moncalvo and mercenary captain with a special fondness for the Barbera, founded 1600 an "oasis of wine", to relax and unwind before and after the battles. In the following centuries the vineyards have been cultivated by expert hand on 30 hectares of today. (Almost) all wines from the winery Tenuta la Tenaglia are available at the wine stain in Memmingen (Allgäu), directly on the A7/A96 motorway junction in southern Germany.
