Loved the stay. Room has enough space to move around. Hot shower, comfy bed, and quiet room. Front desk is very helpful as well. I wish that I could stayed longer.
Want to start by saying that I paid a very steep price for staying at this hotel. I was in Bra during the cheese festival, and even considering the timing, 1200 euros for three nights felt excessive.
The room itself was worn and the air felt thick. I couldn’t control the air conditioning from the room—it could only be adjusted by reception, which is absurd for a modern hotel. The heat at night made it nearly impossible to sleep. When I called to complain, the receptionist responded with hostility, insisting the temperature was “standard for Italian rooms” and couldn’t be changed. When I politely asked if it could be lowered just a little, she hung up on me without another word. The next morning, I was told the air conditioning in my room was malfunctioning and offered a room change.
When I checked out, I asked for a discount due to the faulty room and the poor service I had received, but I was met with a dismissive attitude and excuses that they couldn’t refund anything booked via hotels. Com. (Hotels. Com, by the way, was very helpful and offered me discount coupons as compensation. )
The bed linens were uncomfortable, and the noise from traffic and people outside was constant and disruptive. The hotel advertised bike rentals, but when I asked, there were none available. They also mentioned a shuttle bus into town, but I couldn’t find it and staff didn’t offer any clear directions. The location itself was inconvenient—far from the town center and not easily walkable.

After a long 12-hour drive from Belgium, this hotel was exactly what we needed. We found it by chance on Waze while looking for a place to stay overnight. We weren’t expecting much, but the hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the facilities were very good. The breakfast was an unexpected bonus, fresh, tasty, and with plenty of choice. Considering the price, it offered excellent value and made our stopover very enjoyable. Highly recommended for travelers passing through.
