I said I stayed, with my young children, in a quad room, with a bathroom in the room and balcony overlooking Cadorna Square.
I recommend this hotel for several reasons:
1. The location, outstanding. Located in Cadorna Square, you can forget about the car until the restart. It is very pleasant to leave the hotel and find yourself in the most eventful square of Stresa. In addition, in two minutes, on foot, you reach the embarkation to the Borromee islands and for the navigation of Lake Maggiore.
2. Breakfast, served buffet, is sweet and salty. In my opinion, it can satisfy everyone. You will find croissants, mini krapfen, cakes, biscuits, cereals, meats, yogurt, fresh fruit; at the table, directly from the hotel bar, you will be served coffee, hot chocolates, tea, etc.
3. The room was large enough for 4 people. Good sleep quality; it is true that street artists perform in the square, but not until late. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom (in the room) good, nothing to be over. Our room had no air conditioning but had a ceiling fan which was enough even on the hottest days.
4. The cost of the room, very competitive, becomes unparalleled in value for money given the services that this hotel offers.
5. Free parking in nearby Capucci Square.

Good morning. I just left this hotel in the historic center just steps from the pier. I do not understand why only has one star. Staff was very helpfulness are the order of the day as well as the attention to the customer in giving directions on how to get around and what to see. Maybe someone will do the comparison with The neighbouring hotel, the most renowned of important-sounding names… but I prefer to feel at home! Recommend this hotel at all and when I come back alloggero' here again.
