Beautiful location: a boutique hotel nestled in vineyards. The views from the rooms, the infinity pool, and the back patio are breathtaking. On our last night, we dined at the restaurant, where we found the best regional food of our trip: perfectly cooked plin (mini ravioli), tender rabbit, and creamy panna cotta. We watched a thunderstorm rain on the towns and farms below in the valley while we drank wine.
The service was attentive (snacks and drinks available at the pool), the rooms were spacious and clean, and the breakfast was plentiful. You're a short walk from several vineyards/wine rooms where you can try wines made from local grapes (Barbara varieties) and a short drive (20-30 minutes) from Barolo and Barbaresco, where you can try world-class wines made from Nebbiolo grapes.
On most of the days, we stayed at the hotel where our 6 year old son played at the pool all day with the other children who were staying at the hotel with their families. We will definitely return.
